Yep. Game today starts in about 15 minutes. Glad its on FOX so I can watch it, but it's also unfortunate because Joe ****stick and Tim Mc****stick will probably be the commentators.

no joe buck today, matt v today. i like matty v. he's like the fan next door. but tim mccarver makes it awful.

Even the guys they have today are a bunch of idiots. They started talking about some stupid **** so I gave up on them and put on WRKO.

Also, what the **** is up with FOX sucking Bonds' dick and showing every one of his at-bats. Nobody outside of San Fran gives a ****, especially the people in Boston.

Especially as he is still 2 away from tying the record, I can kind of understand them wanting to show the tying HR (755) and the record HR (756) but 754 has no meaning.

another reason why fox is annoying

celebrity interviews during the game. i don't care about what a celebrity is doing at every single moment, i want to watch my game. contrary to popular belief, not all of us are fawning over idols at every single moment, looking to see what they are doing every single second.

Best $15 I ever spent.

What? You mean you'd rather watch a baseball game than see the celebrity of the week?!

Say i ain't so!

Joe Girardi who was doing the Fox game does games for the Yankees once in a while, I like him with Paul O' Neil.

Yankees about to sweep the double header.:)

Bah, the Angels don't have anymore Molinas! Worst of all, both went to teams I hate: Bengie to the Giants, and as of pretty much now, Jose went to the Yankees. link!

i had it for two seasons, then quit after audio quality became lousy.

i may reconsider it next season as i'm getting mlb.tv as well as the audio with the braves getting yanked off tbs (boo to turner).

Yeah, its a real shame, the TBS run combined with out 14 year run really got us a good national fanbase.

there are three molinas actually. yadier is the much younger brother, also catching, for the cardinals, and some says he's the best of the three. he was never on the angels though.

but jose wasn't getting much playing time anymore, with napoli (just off the dl and a decent catcher) and mathis (who i think is no good from what i heard on angels rants and raves and watching a few of their games) getting all of the playing time. i'm just hoping the same thing doesn't happen to salty here in atlanta.

about the tbs thing, someone said that mlb will soon make wgn cut out white sox and cubs games. if that happens, expect wgn to fall into obscurity. i'm hating time warner right now, now we'll get more doses of yankees, mets and red sox. we have enough of that here on our local floriduh talk shows, which are actually takeovers by the northeastern transplants.

Wow, the Yankees trading away another young pitcher. What a surprise.

especially since the angels sent down ervin santana (aka, the vampire, since he only pitches well at night at home), hopefully, joe saunders gets a permanent spot in the rotation soon. sick and tired of him being stuck in AAA.

The Yankees needed to get rid of their horrible back up catcher Will Nieves, We are not giving up the whole staff just one pitcher so we can get a better backup catcher.

How big a national fan base do the Braves have, I think the Yankees and Red Sox each have a bigger audience then the Braves ever had.

I know about Yadier, but I didn't mention him because like you said, he was never on the Angels.

woooo

Lester is back!

Lester is taking Tavarez's place in the rotation tomorrow (monday) night in Cleveland. He's making his first major league start since August 2006 when he was diagnosed with cancer.

Great to see him fully recovered and coming back up to the big leagues :D

I want to see him have a good start but on the other hand I don't.;)

I have lost all respect for Steve Philips after what he said Sunday night.

So the Yankees have wiped the floor with the Devil Rays the past 2 games scoring 38 runs. Every starting player got a hit and scored a run today.:)

miserable day for my teams. first, the muts win, padres get spanked 9-0 by the phils and fail to gain ground on the bums, braves lose late, 7-2 in a pen meltdown, dropping us to 3.5 games back. ugh. and to make it worse, four whole days with barry bonds starting tomorrow.

Could they have picked a better team for Lester to start against. Cleveland is not going to be a good confidence booster.

Double-A coach dies after being struck by ball

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Tulsa Drillers coach Mike Coolbaugh died after being struck in the head by a line drive as he stood in the first-base coach's box during a game.

The Texas League game was suspended in the ninth inning Sunday after the 35-year-old former major leaguer was hit by a foul ball off the bat of Tino Sanchez of the Drillers. Coolbaugh was taken to Baptist Medical Center-North Little Rock, where he was pronounced dead.

"It's a tragedy for all of baseball," Drillers president Chuck Lamson told the Tulsa World in a story posted on the newspaper's Web site early Monday. "He just joined the staff and was a former Driller player. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family."
