I work as a "Software Engineer" in R&D of an Electonics/IT/Networks/Mobiles Japanese company. In my job, I have to come up with any cool/crazy/new stuff that involves Mobiles and the internet. I have to design then code whatever I think is a new idea. Later, the business units determine whether they make it into a real product or they just throw it in the dust bin  .

Full-time Undergrad at University of Florida majoring in Psychology.

Other than that I am a Certified Professional Food Manager and full-time car enthusiast  and full-time boyfriend :)

I don't think I've posted in this thread, if I did, I'll post again. :D

I'm a graphic Designer for an investment company. "We" hold about 3/4 of a Billion in stocks (all my boss') and we have 7 people.

Currently developing software for DIRECTV set-top-boxes.
Working in the UK fixing bugs in the US...... Oh what fun....

I'm about a year and a half away from completing my Pharm.D, after which, well, I'll probably practice as a pharmacist :D

...that or go to medical school and get a combo MD-Pharm.D cause I'm apparently a masochist like that. I haven't decided. ;)

Do you design the electronic components as well? That would be a sweet job, I'd think. Sit around and make gadgets all day...

I write Mac software for a living.

Havn't seen this thread before, pretty neat.

I'm currently a 20 year old students, but in the summer and other school breaks, I work as in intern programmer at Fidelity Investments in Boston. It's a neat little job, I work in a big office with interesting people, write java, javascript, html and cobol, and get payed pretty nicely for an internship.

I'm a Graphic Designer by day & at the moment at night too. But instead of tackling the mountain of work that needs doing PDQ i'm reading what you lot do for a living.

Oh well back to the grind!

Officially, I am the Director of Information Technology. IT Manager is a less lofty title and closer to the truth. However, I still do some development work in VB and SQL Server. I also have a sideline business of producing videos of high school sports. I really wish I had taken up this field in the beginning.
