Teaching high school juniors and seniors in the beautiful city of Providence. Today we had professional development after school, where I learned nothing useful and got paid too little. It also prevented me from staying in my classroom after school to help my on the brink kids with homework! Well done, as always, school board ...

Anybody on MR work for public school administration? 'Cause I got some words and general anger to direct toward you ...

EDIT: I have, for the first time, found smilies lacking. I'm mad enough to want my angry face to be showing its teeth ... like this, :D , but with a frown.

And some fangs.

I am a freelance cook - mostly for the Food Network, cooking magazines, and recipe developement/tester for cookbooks.

I also give local cooking classes.

Most of the time, I am where I want to be most - at home raising my two children (ages 1 and 2).

Lawn Mower-er.
Snow Shoveler.
Grocery Bag Packer.
Good for Jr. High, I guess.

I'm still a ****ing cashier at a supermarket.

Providence Place Mall, Providence RI. :D

W00T!

Sophomore high school student at a pre-engineering career academy.

I volunteer at an after school care program. I'll admit that I decided to do it because I will need service hours for NHS next year, but I do enjoy doing it.

I'm also doing some research in bioremediation at a nearby university.

I'm a high school junior and I do graphic/web design for a company called MassFX Creative, along with freelancing any job that happens to fall into my lap. I also have 4 periods a day in my school's video studio working on a children's TV show we put on local access. It's shot completely on a blue screen set (the show is called "A Half Hour of Sunflower Power" and the premise is it's these sunflowers living in a sunflower house, where they all have their own rooms, etc.) where I do the chroma keying and all the editing for the show. I don't get paid for that, but they assure me it's worth a scholarship to some of the best film schools.

Print designer (mostly dealing in reports, publications, flyers and booklets) and all-round studio fix-it slave for large UK charity.

Wouldn't touch web design with three ten-foot poles tied together.
I know my limitations...

I'm working for a company that specialized in mobile application, sms, xhtml, imode. I have a my own company as well doing web applications and interactive media. Right now, having a tough time splitting my time between the two companies.
