I also give local cooking classes.
Most of the time, I am where I want to be most - at home raising my two children (ages 1 and 2).

I'm a little late in getting to this thread but hopefully in the meanwhile you will have had a look at the one in the Digital Photography forum addressing issues regarding becoming a stock photographer. To be blunt, you are a long way off from that at this point -- for any number of reasons.
Not sure about this Harvey Norman -- is that a local store in your area which sells Macs? -- but, yeah, I think that all of us who venture into our local Apple/Mac-related stores come out of there not only with whatever merchandise in hand we'd gone in there needing, but also with the satisfaction of having maybe turned someone else on to the gloriousness of using a Mac. At least I have.... That said, I am under NO illusions that this would make me an automatic shoo-in for being hired on there!
Whatever. In reality, since you're still just a minor child by most legal standards, which, if any of the items you listed could truly be considered "a job?" Earning some money here-and-there does not make it a "job." the way it is usually considered by most adults for whom a "job" represents earning a living.
You're not in a position right now to be working full or even part-time (ie, 20 hours or more, certainly not a living) per week because you're still earning credits for completing a high school diploma. That's fine, but just don't misrepresent yourself on these or other forums. You are not working and earning money to keep food in your mouth and shelter over your head. Yes, you are earning money in order to buy the latest and best technology in order to advance yourself, which is nice, but that is still perceived as different by most adults who are out there whose earned income is used directly to support themselves and a family.
That said, it's nice to see someone your age who is ambitious and who is willing to work for what he wants. I hope I am around 20 years from now, when maybe you will have made a significant mark on the world....

Have you seen his work? I also received confirmation of my first Macguide pay cheque today, its around the $700 mark, I'm very happy, I put a good 20 hours into that Issue.
Imagine all the disappointed and angry people who are told new iPods are out, only days after they got there “brand new” ones for Christmas.

You're a nice guy, but you need to tune your ego down a few notches. People get tired of having your "I'm a writer" schtick thrown in the faces.
Just be cool and have fun. 😉 We're all whores taking money for whatever we can. 😀
