I work in telecommunications. Co-locations, data centers, central office, etc. Seen it all, worked with some or for the best. I can probably point you in the right direction to suit your needs for a 7% fee, or have my consultants take care of you. :D

Part time during the summer and breaks Apple Authorized Reseller and Service Center employee, I do sales, service, on-call, ordering, and phones. I am busy:)

I'm a Design Engineer for a capital equipment manufacturer. I design and develop industrial vibrational equipment, not the fun kind ;)

I have degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, but really I just line up holes for a living :)

Unique thread, mind if I steal it? :)

I'm known more as genesis than my real name, and I like it that way. I have the coolest job on earth. I own a LAN Gaming Center in Winnipeg, Canada. So basically I play games all day to make a living. I get to meet a lot of serious gamers from accross the province of Manitoba. Of course it's all about PCs and XBoxes, but check out my business website at http://www.fragmax.ca/

I have been running my "still new" business for about 8 months, before this I used to work for Federal Express - no I don't deliver packages. I was in the IT department and nothing to do for about 95% of my time. During my boring (but well paid) job with FedEx, I started doing what I do best, making communities, just like this one. Although now I'm very busy with my store, I still maintain over 100,000 members on my network of forums and websites. It's generally called SpotNetwork but some of the coolest sites I've ever done has to be http://www.gtaboards.com and http://www.msforums.org

Not too big but makes me meet a lot of new people. I don't know what's going to happen to my sites but they are still going good.

Again, my current job is the coolest, a lot of people want to get a job at FragMax but why would I hire and sit at home and not play games and still pay an employee to take away all my day's fun. So I do it myself, me and my wife. FragMax's backbone game is Battlefield 2. I've been playing this game everyday for 11 hours since it was released about 6 months ago, now I am at the rank of First Sargeant - highest in FragMax and amongst all my customers.

Should be enough for what I do, if you have questions feel free to ask - oh and I am a newbie, it's just my second post after registering today. See newbie welcome thread.

In first year of college studying Electronic Engineering. Part time working in an off-licence.

Well the business card says "Web Administrator" but I do so much more than just the website. Newspaper/magazine ads, stickers, posters, coasters, t-shirts, brochures & more.

I much prefer in house graphic artist because it's a lot more descriptive of what I actually do.

I work for the good ol' NHS as a clinical scientist in Medical Imaging. My specialism is X-Ray and CT but I do some MRI and Nuclear Medicine on the side.

I'm looking at going into computing.

Bachelor of Computer Systems or Computer Science or something along those lines next year. I want a 'well rounded' computer education so that I can be flexible with what type of jobs I can get into.

After that (or during) I will probably do some of the Apple Support courses.

My job title is...

Chief Geek.

No, really, that's what it says on my business card.

I run a Portland, Oregon-local on-site computer consulting company. Largely residential PC work, with a few non profits, and a couple business clients. Including the occasional Mac. (Writing this from a coffee shop break between appointments.)

I was a lawyer in a legal firm until a couple of years ago.
Now I'm an international HR manager.

Do I win anything for having the most boring job?

ex-Biomedical Research Scientist (ex = sabbatical; sabbatical = currently unemployed - grant/funds ran out and there is no more to be had right now). Immunology - mostly cancer and some HIV.
Freelance web site designer/constructor - but then everybody seems to do that these days, so not sure that it counts.

Generally lucky guy - I'm a fine wine rep half the week and a uni student bum for the rest. It's an unfathomably compatible combination.
mad jew's got to have the top way of life from all those listed in this thread. And in Australia too. Lucky lucky lucky.

I create all day. Graphics, photography, music, games in Flash, Photoshop, Pixen, Multimedia Fusion, Logic. I just do stuff. I'm a fairly good traditional artist too, mainly black and white pen/pencil images.

I've no idea what I want to do though! I'm currently studying New Media Design going onto Art and Design Direction next year.

Been looking into Radio Producer, Copyrighter, Designer (graphics/motion). I don't even know anymore. I'm 20 and I've got no clue at all. Shameful. Pitiful? go on then.
Whatever I become I know I'll be damn good at it. I'm a workaholic and I've got loads of energy.

Me? lost.
