as you can see in my sig, im a photographer. Run my own business in the Bay Area doing wedding, portraits and some corporate work.
 
I work at DC Comics (home of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc.) as a Collected Editions editor.
 
i am an administrative assistant/quasi office manager of a software company that designs software for the stock market... i am also going back to school soon for computer stuff... probably networking... but maybe programming.
 
Senior R&D Tech for ODI. We make subsea electrical and fiber optic interconnect systems for offshore oil and gas, defense, oceanographic and telecommunication.
 
We're a broad bunch alright ;)

Me and my musician have teamed up for a 2-man independent game studio now, but with a publisher looming overhead we might not be so independent anymore.
 
I am a linguist who specializes in English language education, as well as a classically-trained organist. I intend to combine my interest in music and linguistics for my PhD work next year.
 
I'm a senior consultant for the largest enterprise software company in the world, with a focus on business intelligence (reporting/analytics and data warehousing).
 
Interesting to see the variety of occupations people here have. Quite a gamut of professions.

Myself, I head the graphics dept. for a local printing company that produces garments, posters and what-not. We do a lot of contract jobs for companies like Sam Adams, Red Sox, etc - It's always a fun process going from concept to production approval, and I enjoy it.
I have also just just started my own little company, so maybe someday I'll be working for myself.
Tattoo design is another area I've been able to squeeze a few dollars out of - keeps me busy on the occasional weekend, anyway.
