I know exactly what you mean. I've sold stuff on eBay (not as a serious endeavour) and my mom has a store and sells enough stuff pay certain bills now that she's more serious about it than she used to be.
Some folks make a decent, six-figure income on eBay. Lucky!
Council garbage collector. Only takes a few hours in the morning, then I go home. I like it. It pays well for a crap job and I get to run around a lot and throw things about.
