Can you manually input distance run or upload files from other devices (i.e. GPS)? I run using a Forerunner 305 and would love to be able to contribute some miles to the group challenge...

right now there is no way to make it work with any other ipod except the nano. (as far as i know at least)

i think there are ways to do this, but you really shouldn't add all your runs this way. it's meant for when your ipod messes up and stuff like that

Nope, Nike+ only works with the nano.... I plugged the sensor into my touch and it said something like not available for this iPod..... You could pick-up a refurb-nano cheap from the Apple Store.

I don't know of any way to do this without a nano. If you have a nano and nike+ kit there are ways to add runs that the nano screws up (which does happen) but I haven't seen a way to entirely remove the nano and nike+ kit from the equation.

well, there are plenty on nike+ that use a garmin as well. not sure exactly how they do it, but there are tons with garmins.
