Yeah, I do feel like I've gotten pretty lucky with this thing. The first time I intended to use it, I tucked it in my shoelaces and it fell out before I got the one block to my carpool to work (fitness center with shower means I run when I get to work). I got lucky that my wife was willing to scour the path for a little device.

My current rig is a the sensor tucked into the cut off corner of a plastic bag, then wrapped with scotch tape both ways. Then one large piece is placed around and sealed to itself with a small overhang. The length wraps around the laces and the overhang is sealed to the sensor. The tape broke on the lost run. But, I wised up and now I have a second piece of scotch tape making the backing double think.

I might buy a "real" holder, but I have to reach a milestone goal of losing 12 or 17 more pounds first.

well, do whatever works for you. the pouch that i bought was only $10

that's the one i have too

I've been looking at that one and a couple of others. It's tempting to get one that can be removed easily enough, even though I'd probably never take it off.

yikes, pretty harsh! 12 or 17 lbs for a little pouch!

It's not that I have to wait that long, but I have a target weight I'm trying to reach, so as I hit 5 pound milestones I get to buy some gear. The next couple of milestones are being taken by an armband and new headphones or headphones and an armband. The third may be a vest or ankle weights, but I haven't decided. So, the pouch is stuck farther back in line. This is what I get for being fat.

hey, at least you have a system. that is good, you just gotta stick to it!

I like the removable one because I alternate between two pairs of sneakers. The shock absorption on each pair lasts longer that way.

good for you for having a plan and sticking to it. Good luck reaching your goals.

A lot of miles have vanished from the challenges.
The 25,000 Mile has gone back to around 1,200.
Most of us are back to 0 miles.

I had a problem in July with the Nike+ site, most of my records vanished, the overall total remained though. After a few days 90% of my history had returned. 10% has gone and not comeback.

Does it look like this for everyone?
