Not sure what Otterbox is up to with the Symmetry cases for the 6+, but this is ridiculous. I had to go with another brand for the first time ever. I went with Incipio because Otterbox can't get their act together. They are releasing new cases for phones on Day 1 yet still haven't been able to do the 6+'s? Fail.

I am very happy with my Commuter. It could fit tighter, but overall, I really like it. I can actually pick the phone up off the table now. It actually feels protected, yet remains light.

Didn't like the fitting of the Commuter on my wife's iPhone 6. The 2 parts don't fit seamlessly together.

I bought the Commuter for my 6 prior to the phone's release. Fit isn't great, and it's sort of a pain to get in/out of, and the plastic is slippery (no rubber where I tend to grip the phone). Picked up a Defender from BB, in all black, of course -- it's slimmer than past Defenders and gives the phone more of a grippy texture and I'm not as worried about tossing it on the ground. It's actually easier to get the phone in/out of, too, which is great as I switch SIMs when travelling to the US.

I was thinking about getting a camo one as well. My husband will want one when he trades his 5 in. The sleep/wake button is getting easier to push but the volume ones still are hard. Took me forever to get all that dang glue off from the screen protector! Lol

I saw a Blaze orange Realtree Otterbox Defender today, in an AT&T store???
They didn't even have them for sale on the Otterbox site yet. I thought that was very strange but then again, these are in AT&T packaging so....

I got an email last week I think, saying the Realtree cases were available. I went on Verizon's website and they are selling the blaze orange max but not the other styles. I'm hoping Verizon will get the pink one! :p

WTF is the point of this thread!? It's like asking why does Jennifer Anniston wear clothes??? Cuz it's practical and necessary dipsh*t. Otterbox has been widely successful for YEARS now. So, unfortunately for you and much to ur dismay, there are hundreds of thousands of people worldwide who will pick otterbox over any other case.

And yes, most of the buyers of these cases buy according to their first priority of protecting their investments, not crying that their phone is covered up or that it's not as sexy naked.

Next time please start a thread entitled, who else hates Otterbox with all their heart??? Or what non-otterbox case will you buy? INSTEAD OF INVITING ALL OF THE SATISFIED CUSTOMERS OF OTTER OX TO UR POINTLESS THREAD ONLY TO REALIZE YOU SHOULD HAVE ENTITLED THE THREAD ONE OF MY SUGGESTIONS ABOVE.

thanks for wasting my time. I really can't believe I just read 8 pages of bs. Btw, the Symmetry is pretty slim and not as ugly as the other otterboxes. Just FYI.

I hope you drop ur phone and break it and then drop it and break it again and then buy an otterbox and start a thread titled who else hated otterbox before shattering their phones and now swears by them???

Have a grest day!!!

Last weekend, when I bought the plain black at AT&T, they had the pink Defender. My wife said it was too bulky, so I got her the Teal Eden Symmetry. (flowery one) It was only in stock online for less than a day before being back-ordered.

On the Realtree, I like the solid back, but it felt a little slippery to me. Still looks good and that orange saved me/my phone twice. One time at Space Mountain Disney World, when it fell off as the coaster was taking off. My daughter saw that bright color and I grabbed it before it took off.

As far as slipperiness goes, at least the way I hold my symmetry, althoughg the back is slippery I always have one of my fingers wrapping around just enough to grip the softer grumpier silicone part so it doesn't slip at all. I think this was a much better design idea.
