Double trouble

I got the freaked Defender plus the " still just comes short" PowerSupport screen protector. It still leaves the non viewable part of the screen exposed. These are the newest PowerSupports that were delivered today.

I really need the Defender and screen protection. (Outside job)

What to do, What to do???

Does anyone know when the revised Defender for the iphone 6 will be released? I will be using the original defender with all the issues for maximum protection until Otterbox sends out the updated version for the defender.

Phone is in the mail but just got back from Bestbuy with my Otterbox Symmetry.

This is my Defender, I love the colors! The buttons are hard to push though, and I did remove the built in screen protector because it was junk. I have just a Verizon generic screen protector on.

I also found an old pic from 2012 when I had the iPhone 4 with an Otterbox on! It looks so ancient. I've had the 5 and 5s the past 2 years until I got my 6 on release day.

My brother got the Commuter case for his Space Gray 6. The phone is due for delivery at the end of this month (Oct) so we'll see how it looks then. It'll make a good first case for this phone I think.

I use the Defender on my iPhone 4 because I was afraid of dropping my phone at the time. Considering the back and front of the phone were glass, I didn't want to take the chance of cracking one of them. Personally, my experience was not that great with them. The plastic shell kept cracking for some reason (at this point I figured out that a big case like the Otterbox wasn't needed for me since I don't drop my phone very often).

After about a year I ditched the Otterbox and went back to my very, very, original case I had gotten for the phone after it was announced; the Apple Bumper. I loved it and thought it was the best case. When the 5 came out I constantly switched cases, but the two I used the most where the BestCase bumper from Target and Apple Leather Case. I had a Lifeproof I used for a week or two during the winter because I was afraid of getting it wet, but never really used it after that.

The first case I bought for my iPhone 6 Plus was this Insignia (yeah, they went from TVs to iPhone cases) $15 case from Best Buy. I got it because the phone was too slippery to hold. After getting ZAGG protectors put on (front Glass, back original) the phone was very easy to hold on to. I considered going caseless, but the 6 Plus leather case came in and I loved it. I originally ordered black but returned it for Midnight Blue and it looks awesome!

I had a TON of cases for my 5/5s but I think with the 6 Plus I'm only going to have a few cases I really like and have functionality and thats it.

I was never fond of the shapes of the cut-outs on the front and back. Not æstetically appealing at all. I went with a red and black i-Blason w/kickstand.

The defender cases are getting slimmer as the numbers increase, 4>5>6.

I've had a leather Apple case on my 5 the past year, but got a defender this week, got a defender and symmetry case for a 6 also.

The phones feel much more substantial in the defender than in the Apple leather. I won't be getting a leather case for the 6.

My 6 comes tomorrow so I'll decide if I'm sending the symmetry back, I think the defender will be nicer, it feels better than the plasticky feel of the symmetry back.

Played with a Commuter for the 6+ at BestBuy today, not really a fan of the inner rubber material. Feels much less firm and protective than the Commuter I have for my Note 2. The lip, like many of the 6+ cases, doesn't protrude nearly as much either.

I have a Pelican Protector and Spigen Tough Armor and thus far I like the Pelican the most. A little hard to get on, but definitely the firmest, most secure rubber material.

Sorry jeanious not an 8th of an inch 8/10 of an inch. Thats s hair away from an inch. Its thick, its ugly, its boring, none of the ports are line up, its expensive, and its expensive. I never said it was 1.6 inches thick. Amazon said its was 1.6 inches thick. You should learn to read.

I think your main point is it's too expensive. You sound like a typical guy in automotive forums who talk crap about BMWs all day driving around in your GEO Metro.

If it's such a crappy case, why do you even care that it's too expensive? Usually, when one complains about the cost, there is some hidden desire. Fess up, you're a closet Otterbox fan.

Are you are that was for the 6+? Otterbox hasn't released it yet

Buttons are hard to press for sure. I also removed my built-in screen protector and all that pesky glue.

I'm lucky that we get 50% off accessories. I'll buy another Cameo Defender, when they come out. I wonder if they will change anything on them by then? Easier button presses, not as much slack for the phone to move around etc.

I was thinking about getting a camo one as well. My husband will want one when he trades his 5 in. The sleep/wake button is getting easier to push but the volume ones still are hard. Took me forever to get all that dang glue off from the screen protector! Lol

The people around here who buy iPhones to stick in cases, never take them out, and have no intention of ever keeping them beyond the date they can get the highest resale value for them.

Yeah. Those people.

Robbing yourself of a proper iPhone 6 experience for two years so you can make $25 more on Craigslist makes no sense.

The guy mopping the floors at McDonald's thanks you for suffering in 2014 so he can use your pristine phone to call his brother in prison in 2016.

That was pure sarcasm my friend. :D

I have an iPhone 5 and I don't use cases. ;-)

Elitist snobs like you give Apple fans a bad name.

I've been using the Otterbox Defender for 2 days now. Yes, the buttons are hard to press and yes the charger plug is tricky to connect, but this case is super heavy duty. I have no concerns whatsoever if it happened to drop. There are always tradeoffs. I was thinking of the Pelican Voyager, but didn't like the plastic backing and it was not as rugged as the Defender.

Back to the question at hand. Anyone with thoughts
On the griffin survivor slim for the 6 plus? I typically keep a more rugged case for traveling. This one has peeked my interest.

What area do you live in? I can't find them anywhere!!

I see the troll is back.

I too am waiting for an Otterbox. I have messaged the company but no news. Hoping it will be preorder soon.
