The lighter colors look horrible with the antenna lines and cameras. This is the only year where black basically hides the lines and camera and makes the phone look good.
Not sure why anyone would want a lighter color now
 
Not 100% sure, but I'm leaning toward Jet black. But if it proves too fingerprinty and fragile I might go with just black.

Definitely not the others though.
 
Jet Black. I have major OCD when getting new iPhones for a while so I'm obviously not looking forward to all the fingerprints and possible scratch issues, but it's the new amazing color and it really catches my eye so I just can't resist :confused: I'm planning on getting one of the leather apple cases just not certain on a color yet.

I definitely want jet black since it reminds of the iPhone 4. But the scratch thing concerns me. Will prob get it anyways

Makes zero sense, you hate scratches, OCD, but love the color. But then you hide it in a leather case where you can't see it.

Btw, I am torn also.

These were my same thoughts. Reminds me of my old 3G/4 and I'm ready to return to gloss. Don't get me wrong, the murdered out iPhone 5 was beautiful in black as well, and this new black iPhone 7 looks phenomenal, but my heart is just telling me Jet Black
 
I won't be buying this, but if I were - jet black. And literally for nothing else other than you can't see the hideous antenna lines easily. I couldn't really spot them in any videos or pictures easily, while still noticeable on the matte black. Just IMO.

I know it makes no sense :(, but I'm really interested in Jet Black. Also, I think about it this way; Next year's iPhone is widely expected to be a total redesign to an all glass design, meaning it's going to be a fingerprint magnet and have the possibility to scratch just like the Jet Black. So, I'm basically preparing myself a year in advance to when I'll have to deal with fingerprints all over the glass of the iPhone 8 (although I'll likely get white at that point which won't really show them).

Seems logical?
 
I'm torn between silver and matte black. I wanted to get silver this time, because I've had space grey for three years and I thought a white bezel and back would be a nice change. Now that they've brought back matte black though... Damn this is hard, because I would've preferred a slate black (like on the iPhone 5) over space grey so much. Now they have it again. If anyone has advice, I'd be thankful :)
 
I envision a whole host of glass "screen protectors" appearing for the back of the Jet Black iPhone. While this won't help much with finger prints and smudges, it should protect against scratches.
 
Call me boring but silver all the way. Still love having that uniform look of all my iDevice's being the same color.
