Sell it. Their fault, and a whopping $500ish dollars isn't going to hurt them.
90% of these people are lying when they say they would "Do the right thing" BS.
I would call apple, tell them "I know a guy that ordered a IPhone and received two. Whats his incentive to walk into an apple store with it?"
If they don't wanna give up something good, I'd Keep it.
If he sells it and they they send him a letter that they made a mistake blah blah blah and they say either send it back of be charged the full amount. That amount will be more than $500.00
That's whats wrong with this world, not enough honest people.
To the OP I would call Apple because they might be more grateful for your honesty and might give you a reward. I would also get in writing that you gave it back in case anything comes up in the future.
Now if you got it from at&t, maybe call them also.
Remember Karma..
If you messed up on a shipping order, wouldn't you want the person to be honest so you wouldn't get in trouble?
I had this happen to me and I did the right thing. I didn't get anything back but it made me feel good and it taught my daughter to always to the right thing.
Like I said not enough honest people in this world. This world would be so much better if people were just honest.

Just because you're not honest doesn't mean everyone is. My daughter even saw a lady drop $10.00 once at a store, so my daughter got it and gave it back to her. I didn't even know the lady dropped it or see my daughter get it until the lady came to me and said I have a very good daughter and what she did. Not bad for a 10 year old kid and being a parent that made me feel GREAT!Riiiiight.
I'm glad you think like me. I like to think there are more honest people in this world then not honest. It is not yours, so there is not much to discuss. Give it back. I'm sure Apple would be more than happy to send you out a box and pre-paid shipping label, too. If you get a thank-you gadget in the process, that's great, but I wouldn't actually ask for anything. How would you want to be treated if you owned a business and made a mistake like this?
DITTO!!! I couldn't agree with you more!!I got undercharged $40 when I was buying a Shuffle at my college bookstore. I immediately told them and they corrected it. I didn't get anything free, but I did the right thing. Just because you would be a dishonest cheat (even though they sent him two, it was in error) doesn't mean you're right in saying everyone else would be.
Get some class.

Alrighty then, we see what your ethics are. Rationalizing it as a gift and not theft may be satisfactory to you, but really, it's pretty clear cut to most of us. There is honest, and there is dishonest. It's not hard at all to differentiate between them.I would be a dishonest cheat? lmao you're the one that needs the class kid. I didn't go out and steal anything. If some delivers 700 dollars to me don't look for me to be running out the door after them.
No he cant
AT&T will probably figure it out and bill you for the other phone. I wouldn't screw around, especially because they've got you on contract (aka by the balls).
