I took some pictures outside today but the hdr tag didn’t pop up or take any hdr pictures. Is it supposed to by result or do I have to enable something? iPhone xs

The new iPhone uses smart hdr and it always on. That is why you don’t see the HDR tag at the top of the screen. Open settings and scroll down to camera and touch camera, then at the bottom you will see Smart HDR and it will probably be on. If you turn it off, the HDR tag will show at the top when you touch the screen to activate it as you once did. But leave smart HDR on, its much better.

This happened to my camera last night. There is a line running across my screen only when taking a photo. I didn’t drop it, either.

Any advice?
