I have to say one thing about Apple, they know how to manufacture way over product but use it in so many new products for several years launches that we are being charged as ALL new components. I mean I can see a few lower tier models the next year or so getting them but there are components fron 3 years at least going into latest models.

I’m will never pay $1,500+ for a phone with just 4gb ram from years ago.....again they know how to seek it by talking about one or two innovations so they can just speak it by....thanks Apple but I value my money to much to pay that price for leftovers....we are letting them get by with it too, they keep selling it by saying all the chips that is so good all we need is just low to your components to make it run fast blah blah blah...yea... well at that price I want all new top-of-the-line components in my phone not a couple with a bunch of leftover stuff.

Lol, even the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro max $600 difference same amount of ram yeah.... wow they must really think we are gullible sheep at this point

Lol, not only ram, becoming laughing stock with 64gb phones, they must have wayyyyyyyyyy over manufactured that one

You think Androids with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM run more smoothly than iPhones with 3GB, 4GB, 6GB RAM?

Android OS is less efficient than iOS. Period.

What phone has 6gb of ram can you tell me? I will buy it.... it’s not about what squeaks buy every year with premium prices it’s about potential if you read anything else but Apple you would see that if they had more ram they could really be something.

In fact I was already to buy a new phone this year when early reports had it at 6 GB of RAM and last minute I mean within hours of pre-order it was found out that it only had 4 GB so no no sale for me...Period

My SE with just 2GB RAM running iOS 13, runs smoother than my gf’s old S9...

What exactly did you want from Apple... let’s have a list of these features that aren’t “leftovers”??

And the new Pro models have 6GB RAM. Not sure where you are getting your crap information from, but it’s skewed.

If you don’t like it, as said above, don’t buy it! Apple will continue selling millions of devices without someone who is clearly an Android “troll”.

Have you actually owned any Apple products? And what can your Android equivalent do? That the vast majority of the customers would genuinely use daily. Same age of device, go...

Do your own homework, I did mine...hurry and keep buying the leftovers so they have to make some new components...prove it...if they do, I will buy one....tests say 4gb

While I wouldn’t mind more storage I have 52.05GB free space out of 64GB on my iPhone 8. So not all of us really need more space and it’s nice being able to buy the cheapest storage tier. But yes, I would love if the 11 Pro had 6GB of ram as I’m tired of the app/page reloads.

Even if leaks from Benchmarking software confirm 4GB of RAM, how long do you think an android phone with 8GB/12GB will last compared with a comparable iPhone?

Did you? Time to go back to school then, because you’ve just flunked this class.

Care to show me sources?

The UK phone carriers have listed 6GB as info given to them from Apple. Reason this will be correct is because if it wasn’t, you can then get full refunds for being mis-sold a product, and phone networks would not take that risk.

I’m more inclined to trust a stated advertised specification, over a geekbench guess.

Lol..keeps changing your post, no I’ve never owned android boy, I just expect more for my money than you do obviously, guess that’s why I have it.....

Your posts don’t even make much sense. And boy? I can guarantee from your typing your younger than me.

What do you expect for your money then?

What other flagship phone offers “more” that is really useful and works without fault?

So you’ve never owned Android? So what are you saying exactly? You expect more for your money, and that’s why you have it? Have what??? Because if you don’t have an Android phone, and you hate Apple, what are you using?

I don’t think anybody will know for sure until Ifixit does a tear down.

GSM Arena lists 4GB but I don’t know how they got this information:

If you want the newest tech possible, Apple is not for you.
If you want the most refined tech, then Apple is for you.

Vodafone listed the Pros with 6GB RAM. I don't know which to believe.

I had to to back and reread my post to make sure it was in English, since most can’t read or comprehend... I was all set to buy this year till I saw old components again, not spending that much money for old, you want to help yourself, that’s your choice, I make mine.

Once again for those that didn’t comprehend, if it comes out that in fact it does have 6gb CONFIRMED, I will buy this year, again I see way more tests saying 4gb, so I stopped my preorder....

So good.
You have made up your mind that you do not want an iPhone and will purchase something different. Cool. Good you made that decision.

You are right, they first listed at 6gb and I was ready to order and not only that move to the max size this year, THEN they did an about face to 4gb so I stopped

I just can’t believe that they would call them pro models and have same ram amount as the 11 non pro...just doesn’t make since...if it becomes absolutely confirmed at 6gb for pro models I will get one, I’m waiting now.

Yeah, I think it’s 4GB in the 11 and 6GB in the Pro models. The new camera software is going to need the extra RAM, that’s why both would have an upgrade over the outgoing models.

I just can’t see the phone companies risking a complete refund and cancellation risk for mis-advertising a product they’re selling.

You should write Apple sternly written letter :rolleyes:

Gotcha. Either way I’d be moving from an iPhone 8 with 2GB so 4GB or 6GB is obviously an upgrade. But I’d prefer 6GB for sure.

T-Mobile also says the Pros come with 6GB of RAM:

Nice find there. I’m hoping that’s correct.
