Please, do let us know what your pro needs are that you need an iOS device to currently run 6Gb of RAM. Give us some real world use cases where the 4Gb is a bottle neck to your workflow.

Every single sodding year. Maybe I’m just the optimist type who thinks this nonsense can finally be put to bed one year. It seems not. So, for a change, I’m not going to do a lengthy post explaining memory efficiency. Instead, I suggest using the search bar, you’ll find plenty of in-depth technical analysis on this subject from last year...... and the year before that.... and the year before that..... and the ye... well, you see where this is going 😛

Lol, laughing all the way to the bank, Apple has become a 3 year upgrade at minimum for those that value their money...next year will have enough ram to be a pro...this year phone not close. I’m good with it, this has been their trend for last couple years to burn off old inventory with just enough of new to try and sell it as the best.

We’ll see what next year brings!
