iPhone in Canada yesterday reported that Apple has seeded Build 10D572 of Mac OS X 10.6.3 to developers. The new release comes just two days after the previous seed and carries only a single increment in build number, suggesting that public release of the third maintenance update to Snow Leopard may be right around the corner.
According to reports, the current build focuses on Graphics Drivers, Quicktime, Images & Photos, Mail, and Security Certificates.
As with the previous build, the new seed contains one documented known issue involving the reoffering of last week's Safari 4.0.5 update via Software Update after upgrading to the new build.

The last update to Snow Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6.2, was released in early November.

uhhhh.... How about mr just stop posting stories about snow leapord betas and just let us know when its finally realeased....

I like the notifications, but maybe Page 2 would be a better place for them.

When a headline consists of "One more [of what we've had articles about every day for the past 2 months just to taunt people waiting for MBPs]", its time to bump it to page 2.

Like I said before Apple is cooking this update and will release it just before the iPad is released. This way it will have a new iTunes in it to interface with the iPad. Everything that Apple is doing right now centers around the iPad.

To me the 10.6.3 betas don't fix the problems with 10.6.2's network issues.

Everything's been working fine for me.. Only thing I'm excited about is the OpenGL improvements. 🙂

My GMA X3100 issues appear to be getting worse.
This implies that there is something else wrong with your system, either other software recently installed or perhaps failing hardware. It wouldn't be something decaying in your current OS; it's not a head of lettuce.

Or you might be imagining things just so you have something negative to post.

I just want them to send a FINISHED version to customers. ...though I'm kinda shocked at how many betas it has been...

Exactly.
And expect MacBook Pro updates a few weeks after the iPad release.

He just wants attention.

Apple doesn't update iTunes with OS point releases. They are released separately.

10.6.5 will be the one, we'll all look back on that fondly...
...just as we're waiting for 10.7.1 to fix our broken quad-core MacBook Pros!

Yes, I realize that and I deliberately obliged.

The problem is that some attention hogs attract the wrong type of attention (negative, instead of positive) due to their posts and/or personality.

Ultimately, only he can change the way he feels. If he is despondent and morose, it's up to him to change that if he wants. However, based on my limited interactions with this character, he appears to be quite satisfied with the way he presents himself here.

Perhaps he likes complaining. I have some relatives who are that way.

SlaunchaMan is correct.

iTunes is typically offered as a separate upgrade. iTunes runs on previous versions of the OS (10.4.11+ and 10.5.x); it is not tied to Snow Leopard.

I wish they will seed it to customers as well, eventually.

If the Updates keep getting bigger already at 790 MB for the combo update according to Apple Insider. Apple will need to start sending out DVD Updates As 790 MB takes a long time on a 3Mb cable line 🙁

A couple of previous builds were shipped with no known issues and now the most recent two have some issues to be focused on. Hmmm, some showstopper must have showed up. My patience for .3's arrival is thin, but understand the necessity of making sure a solid build is released. I predict within 10 days.
