All the dozens of people that might actually use the feature can rest assured they’ll be able to get it less than a year from when these phones launch.
The rest of the crybabies that are just upset they won’t have the spec on the side of the box can also revel in getting one in the same timeframe.

Here we go again with only bigger phones having the newer features. Disappointing.

It’s Call marketing Sales tactics 101. That’s what Apple does in terms to create a separation of features to sell the most expensive device (By the way, it’s a commonality of all tech companies). What would you expect them to do? Sell phones that all have the same features? They would never be able to sell their larger phone, if consumers didn’t have the price point option of having all the same features.

so the 12 max and 12 pro will be almost exactly the same besides the cameras and stainless steel chassis?

I would expect the two Pro phones to have the same features.

I mean, it’s like that for a lot of electronics and products in general Lol. Bigger device = more space for other things (not always of course). It’s just business at the end of the day. They want to have low-mid-high tiers with obvious differences.

Does anyone even care about this 5G?
I believe Kuo reported this few months back.

I couldn’t care less about 5mm Wave 5G, and I don’t understand why it’s being pushed so hard.

The U.S. was mentioned as having the infrastructure for it. Does it? I haven’t heard anything about mass deployment of mm Wave. Maybe if you live in the cities- if you live in the suburbs, forget it. It’s a technology that a minority of people are going to experience.

Very true. Look at TVs. Only the largest size carry the top features. Even the 65" don't have all the top features when you look at high-end models from Sony and others. You have to go to the 75" and 85" in order to get all of the top features.

So, literally no iphone that's ever been made has had this feature. Is your phone not fast enough now? Why does anyone care about this?
I don't care about mmWave 5G, butI do care about the sub 6MHz 5G. I have T-Mobile and I have 1-2 bars in my house. And there is 5G coverage here now that can penetrate walls better and much better coverage, so as long as the new iPhone support that I'll be happy.

Anyone have any educated guesses on battery life with a 5G iPhone? FWIW, I had the iPhone 5 and sometimes switched off the then-new LTE option to make it through the day

Not the same cameras. Only the 6.7” model will have image stabilization on the ultrawide lens.
