I don't mind if it's only on the 5.5, but I'm sure the majority of prospective buyers would prefer the same amount of storage on both 4.7 and 5.5 inch models. I'm going to buy the highest capacity 5.5 inch either way, September can't come soon enough! Hoping that the bezels are shaved down a little somehow though.

Oh please no. This is exactly what everyone was hoping wouldn't happen. Adding screen size options is great, but making the smaller model to be the inferior model is a load of crap.

these are baseless rumors. Do you see any features the iPad Mini did not receive that the iPad Air did?

Ok guys, lets all put our common sense caps on:

Apple is a very mature, smart company so they will:

-Release both sizes at the same time, assuming

a) there really are going to be both sizes and
b) they don't call the different sizes something weird like iPhone 6ULTRA! in which case it would make a small bit if sense of they released it at a different time... though it is still improbable.

-Make both phones capable of the same things so as to make everyone happy.
-Tell Samsung to go take a long walk on a short pier

What is everyone going to do when neither of these 'iPhone 6's' come out?

LOL... complain some more...
I think we will see these 2 models. What's easier to believe, that these are the actual models, or there is a well orchestrated plan to feed rumor sites dummy mock ups? Maybe it's Cook's plan to finally weed out the moles?

Lots of models

I wouldn't blame Apple for sticking with 2 storage sizes. 16gb isn't a great user experience in my opinion and the cost to Apple is negligible. Think about how many models a US Apple store has to keep straight: 3 Colors, 3 Storage Sizes, 4 Carriers = 36 iPhone 5S models. Two screen sizes would double that to 72 models. Taking away one storage capacity lowers it to 48 models to keep straight. They already only offer two storage sizes on the 5c, limiting it to 40 models.

The 128GB model, if true, will be hella expensive. IIRC, I paid $299 + tax for a 32GB 5S on contract. A 64GB version was IIRC $399 + tax. A 128GB version would be at least $499 if not higher.

Hopefully 32GB will replace the 16GB price point.

I'm going to break a lot of hearts here but i think the 100 dollars is going across the board.

4.7
299 32 GB
399 64 GB

5.5
399 32GB
499 64GB
599 128GB

:rolleyes:Apparently I'm in the vast minority!

I love the idea, but I was going to get the 5.5 anyway!

:apple::apple:Yaaaaay Apple!!:apple::apple:

differentiator

*major differentiator..

next day.. another differentiator... only 5.5 Apple :apple: logo will light up!

I think you are $100 too high start at $199 and go from there. The old models will be $99

That how they're going to get you! :roll eyes:

Lets see, $100 more than a current model so..

299 - 16 GB
399 - 32 GB
499 - 64 GB
599 - 128 GB

Unless they start at 32 GB it will be $599 on contract, who knows what it will be off contract!

So i continue with the differences between 4.7 and 5.5"
1)Optical stabilisation for the 5.5"
2)Sapphire glass only for 5.5"
3)128gb only for 5.5"
4) Keep on going Apple this road and i will stick with my 5s
