The fingerprint happy Black one has me thinking that I want to go back to a bumper-style case and get my Ghost Armor clear matte re-applied.
On the 5 I was using naked with just GA on back and sides. When I had my 4/4s, I had a ton of cases. During the last 4 or 5 months, I settled in with a GA back and a SGP Linear EX (http://techmusings.me/back-to-black-and-red-and-silver-and-matte). It was a great setup but SGP's offerings are a bit slim right now.
I just got this same case. The metal part is purple-ish. Doesn't match like the pictures on their website. I may swap out for a black one (going on a white iP5).
Also got a Flex in same color. The case looks well made except there is a fine mold / seam line around the side edges. Again, in their pictures, it doesn't show that.
If I am not mistaken GA sells both "case friendly" (small space from edge - for cases), and edge-to-edge skins.
On the order page. The one piece back that I received for the 4s and the 5 was a "case friendly", not full but not really a concern even if you don't use a case.
It's actually pretty purple... I think it might be a bit too purple for my liking too. I wonder if I would have liked the white one better.
Also, addressing the other posts:
I don't think there's much of a chance of getting dust inside the case because it seems to be such a good fit on the phone. I don't have any dust between so far.
The blue one that I have doesn't seem to be fingerprint happy - perhaps it's just the black.

This arrived today...
Amazing quality indeed, but is a little thicker/heavier than I'd hoped. I'm sure ill get used to it however.
But yeah, unless they have a revised blue one that is less purple on the aluminum part, I'm going to request a black one instead

That's not really bad...it's far better than the back of the actual phone. Are you expecting it to show NOTHING? if so, none of the colors will work for you.
Interesting in your case...not only did the glue not hold, but they put the aluminum in rotated 180 degrees.
LOL! I actually put the metal in that way when I took it out and tried to glue the entire piece down.
As for the fingerprints, I am very particular about having to wipe down my devices and find that cases like the outfit tend to really wear after a month or so based on my experience with dozens of cases for the generations of iPhone I have owned over the years. That being said,
I'll probably go with a matte back skin and a bumper style case.
I really like my case even though I got the wrong color. This particular one is soft to the touch almost rubbery but not cheap feeling. I haven't noticed any fingerprints and there was no difference in weight IMO.
