The Frame Case looks HUGE!

Think I'm going for Speck candyshell. The cranberry and white posted earlier on looks good, but so does the lemon one....hm...

I wish this came in more colors...I just don't like the color combos they chose to offer all that much. :(

Which Case are you getting for your new 3gs?

For me since I have the iphone 2G, I had to get a new case.

I have had the contour showcase on my iphone 2g for over a year now and love it, I broke my first two cases within a month, before finding this one.

I got the contour for 3g/3gs @ buy.com for 26.62 with free shipping, and Bing cashback gave me a whopping $0.27 back for a total of $26.35! lol

(buy.com was the cheapest place Google shopping had listed other than eBay)

I want to know what the serious iphone users use for their cases! and what kinds of $$ deals they find.

i didnt read any of these thread, but in my opinion...if your getting a black one ...dont get a slider case. it scratched the crap out of the back of mine. I have an Incase leather case, its worked the best

The wifey has an iPhone 2G with no screen protector with no scratches. The thing rattles around in her purse. Amazing. Mine has a mirrored screen protector and also no scratches.

I love any silcone case. I bought the wifey one that glows in the dark and she never has a problem finding it. I have a heavy duty thick case and don't worry as much when the kids drop it.

For the new phone I'm going with a matte screen. The mirrored one is fun, but outside it functions better as a mirror than a screen protector. :(

I was thinking about the Ultra-Case for a while, but I really like the candyshell. At first I liked the black/yellow one, but after a while, the grey/green really grew on me, so I went ahead and bought it.

By the way, Amazon is definitely the place to buy cases. The candyshell I bought was only $23 with free shipping as opposed to $35 from Speck or Apple

i just have a cheap one i stole from Marshall's. I think it's by Griffen? It's small and that's all i really want. I might just keep it naked instead of the case. I don't mind a few scratches, but my 1G iPhone right now has none. And for the most part, it's been naked since I got it.

it's a cheap case that was being sold for 40 dollars. i'm not wasting 40 dollars on a case as cheap as it is. so yes, i did.

stop me if you heard this, if your like me and value the money you spent on your phone then you want to protect it, and if bulk isnt an issue and protection is an issue, then go with the otterbox defender, its a serious tank

What are the main differences between the Speck CandyShell and the Incase Slider?

Just trying to work out what to buy and I am very new to the iphone world!

Thanks :)

The InCase Slider is a hard shell that comes in two pieces that slide together around the mid-bottom of the phone at such a point that you can remove the bottom of the case and fit the phone nicely into a Dock.

The Speck Candyshell is a one-piece design that has a softer silicone interior to pad the phone in case of impacts, with a hard plastic layer on the outside to provide a firmer shield against dents and dings.

The Slider's a nice case, but the all-in-oneness of the Candyshell is phenomenal if you're not planning on swapping cases daily.

gloss, thank you for your speedy answer, sounds like the Speck CandyShell might be the way to go....

screen protectors i can pick up at the apple store?

Just put my order in for the speck CandyShell. I got the white/Red one. Looks sweet and can't wait to stick my phone in this slick case!

I wasn't going to get a case, but then I figured I'd at least want to protect the back.

(I have a 1G iPod Touch that is usually naked. Back is nasty, but there is not one imperfection with the glass.)

I ended up buying the iFrogz case. I really like it. Sold feel, Dockable and just plan nice. It did come with a screen protector too. It just sticks on. It really does give the glass a nice, slicker feel. Much nicer then just the plan glass.

I know that you have to get defensive because you just made yourself look bad. But stealing is WRONG. And if the case was $40 bucks, and you didn't have the $$, that doesn't make stealing ok.

You just told us all a lot about your morals and values. I'm NOT impressed.
