I have a Samsung Note 10 but I miss apple so will probably buy an iPhone this week and give my note away to a family memeber

I just wanted to ask

Is the Pro Max worth it or should I opt for smaller Pro.

Do it. It’s a comparable size to the Note 10 +. I moved to the 11 Pro and miss the screen size and am probably doing a swap.

I'm going through the it myself. I've always been a Plus/Max size phone user since they came out, but I like the feel of the standard size Pro. I went to a store last night and played with a Pro and I really like it. But will I miss the size and battery life of the Max? That's the question. Thinking I'm gonna do it. Again, don't forget it comes down to what you want/need in a phone that matters most. Go try them both out if you haven't already and hopefully that will help in your decision. As has been stated here many times before, it's nice with the Pro models, they both have the same specs, so buying the smaller one doesn't mean you're getting a lesser phone. Also there's the 14 day return window if that helps.

Is it strictly screen size or are there any other factors you like in the Max version over the standard Pro? Battery life if I were to guess?

Like WingsAndBeer said, it’s only really a question you can answer yourself.

I love my pro max since it also fills the role of a tablet for me, I actually wish it was bigger.

The battery life alone is a massive feature, it’s so refreshing to have a smartphone where I don’t have to worry about it. I haven’t felt this since my last basic phone a decade ago.

Battery life is already awesome on my regular Pro. Just would like a larger screen.

FWIW, I went from a huge Android phablet to a pixel 3, I wanted something easier to use with one hand. I don't regret it at all.

I may try to pick up an iPad mini on black Friday, for more extensive browsing at home.

Are you getting 64 or 256gb?

Apple really did customers bad with not introducing a 129gb model. smh

I obsessed about the same thing for a while before finally landing on the Pro Max. I've never had an iPhone plus, so I was hesitant.

Turns out there was no reason to be, and I'll probably never go back to the smaller form factor. Granted, I can't always use the phone one handed like I used to before, but it's a small compromise given the bigger screen and battery.

That's what I've heard thanks!

Honestly at any given time, there's only 20-30gb in use on my phone, so I can get by with 64. But I do agree, 128 would be a great option.

came from 6S+ to X and now ProMax ... screen size is great, battery is superb. Those 2 make up, for me, for being a little heavier ...

Went from the X to the XS Max and now have the 11 Pro. I also have the Note 10. Honestly, I love the size of the Pro and don’t find it to be too much of a loss in screen size. If I really want to consume media I have my iPad Pro and MBA for that.

As far as what is best for you, only you will be able to decide that. If you’re comfortable with the Note 10 then I would guess you would be fine with the Pro Max. Just know that the Pro Max is a heavier phone than the Note.

Hmm will deffo check them out in the shops

Only you can answer that question, compare them both in the store.

But me personally speaking: The Max is 100% worth it, i would go with that aswell.

I always preferred plus size models. My Xs max is the perfect size for me. I did try to use an x model for a few weeks but it wasn’t for me. My hands simply devoured it. Was reading only yesterday that iPhone 12 max models will ‘apparently’ sport a slightly larger display at 6.7” in 2020. I’d be all over that tbf.

Boom welcome back!
Thanks!!! I bet when the note 11 comes ill get it lol
One thing is
When I get my new phone and I am setting it up is there anyway just to transfer only my apps from my apple account and not the actual settings etc...
I don't want to set it up to how my old XS Max was....

I just got the Pro Max today and like it but I feel its too heavy. My hands hurt after a while using it once handed.
It's annoying because I bought a case for it which I have opened, got an Apple screen protector installed in store so if I was to return it, I run the risk of losing out on like £80 since I can't return the case or screen protector.

I had the XS max and note 10 plus so I thought the pro wouldn't be a problem but its heavier than I thought. I am debating if. should return it to get the regular pro and take the loss or just carry on with it and hope I get used to it....

Give it a few days, man. I had the same shock factor with the XS Max and Plus iPhones before that. Your hand should get used to the weight and you’ll find away to hold it to where it doesn’t hurt.

Did you purchase your case and screen protector from Apple? When I switched from the 11 to the Pro Apple allowed me to swap my screen protector and case. You could always try and see what they say if you do decide that the Pro Max is too heavy for you.

All depends on your needs wants and lifestyle. I went from x to xs max to pro max and truly miss the smaller size. I would trade my pro max for a pro in a heartbeat. Just easier to carry around and keep in the pocket everyday. I use to spend more time on my phone so the bigger size fit well. Now after kids and a busier life I really miss the easier to mange size
