I think 6.5 is about as big as I would like; I really hope they don't go to 6.7. How big will finally be too big? Are we really heading towards the memes where the iPhone XXX is the size of an iPad?

When I upgraded from a 6s Plus to an X, I got used to the smaller size, and was going to upgrade to an 11 Pro, but after seeing my girlfriend's 11 Pro Max and making sure it fits in my shirt pocket, I got myself an 11 Pro Max. Yes, it's bigger and heavier, and when I don't have a shirt pocket it's a bit harder to put into and get out of my front pants pocket, but there's more screen area and longer battery life, too.

comparing from a Note 9 to 11 pro max is just like "meh". I don't regret the change from the note to pro max. Its just that I get problems when buying a brand new phones than buying used phones.

Thanks all above

I took the plunge and ordered the Pro Max 64gb. I loved the Note but just missed Apples eco system!!
You gave it a good shot. Certainly much longer than I did!

Up until today, I had the Note 10+, and just purchased an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
From a size perspective, to me, like for like...
I found the note 10+ to be quite a bit bigger but that was not enough to make me keep the note.

I would like a bigger phone then I could ditch my iPad mini. I think if they went to 7 inches I could get rid of my iPad mini.

The Pro Max is a great phone. Great battery and display. I had one but decided to go back to the 11 Pro. I just got tired of lugging around The Max which is nearly half a pound in weight. Just a bit too bulky for me. I had the X so I'm used to the 5.8" screen. I think I slightly prefer that size since it's much lighter and easier to handle.

Since they're apparently getting rid of the 5.8" size next year, the 11 Pro will inevitably be a good backup phone to whatever I upgrade to in the future. If they decide to make a 6.1" model a true Pro phone, then I would consider that. But I think I'm done with 6.5" and up phones.

Thanks!!! I bet when the note 11 comes ill get it lol
One thing is
When I get my new phone and I am setting it up is there anyway just to transfer only my apps from my apple account and not the actual settings etc...
I don't want to set it up to how my old XS Max was....
Restore the XS max backup on the 11 pro max and then do reset all settings.

I have a Samsung Note 10 but I miss apple so will probably buy an iPhone this week and give my note away to a family memeber

I just wanted to ask

Is the Pro Max worth it or should I opt for smaller Pro.

This is a really tough thing to be honest. I think you need to identify what is important for you.

For me, my main concern was battery life.

I originally owned the 11 Pro Max, and I loved the larger display and especially the battery, but the weight was off-putting.

So I gave the 11 Pro a shot with the caveat that if the smaller display bothered me, I'd just deal with the heftier Max model.

I ended up finding the phone was still a battery champ, and it didn't bother me that it didn't last quite as long as the Max - it was still a huge upgrade from every other iPhone especially the smaller ones. Both the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have fantastic battery life.

The lighter relative weight and the easier one handed use really came in handy for my work. From a practical standpoint, the regular 11 Pro made more sense whereas the Max made less sense. It was also cheaper so I used that saving towards Apple Care Plus.

For me, its the perfect smart phone and the best phone Apple has released - I am happy Apple offers it in two sizes, but the regular Pro is just as great.

I just got the Pro Max today and like it but I feel its too heavy. My hands hurt after a while using it once handed.
It's annoying because I bought a case for it which I have opened, got an Apple screen protector installed in store so if I was to return it, I run the risk of losing out on like £80 since I can't return the case or screen protector.

I had the XS max and note 10 plus so I thought the pro wouldn't be a problem but its heavier than I thought. I am debating if. should return it to get the regular pro and take the loss or just carry on with it and hope I get used to it....

Yeah this was my issue as well ^ see my post above

I am very happy with the regular 11 Pro. Give it a shot, the only thing I would say is if you absolutely need larger screens then the regular 11 Pro might be too small; if you don't absolutely need larger screens or usability is more important to you (5.8" is still a pretty big display) then you'll be happy with the regular model

I am coming from a Note 9 to an 11 Pro Max and I love the size. I prefer the bigger screen and I don’t find that the weight bothers me, but then again, everyone has different preferences. I find a pop socket helps with that if it bothers you that much. It’s good that Apple offers multiple size options so they fulfill everyone’s needs! I, personally, will always go for the bigger phone because the bigger the screen, the better for me! Enjoy your new device regardless of which way you go!

Love it. I have the 8 Plus which is the same physical size as the Pro Max and i am so used to that size now, it really doesn't feel like a phablet. A 6.5" all-screen would be amazing, and also battery life. But i wanna wait for the 12 Pro Max with 6.7".

I love absolutely love the size and weight my 11 Pro Max, but I have always liked phones that are a bit hefty and large and sit wide in my hand, hate how phones are going narrow these days, glad Apple have stuck to the wider stance.

The fact that the 11 Pro Max has this ridiculously long battery life just makes things even better. I am about to go to bed and still have 42% battery left, nuts!
