It’s not a copy. They took the production Cad drawings for Apple’s manufacturing process, changed a few variables. Totally different by their standards.

They didn’t even bother to change the design of the bands lol are they also manufactured at the same factory? Wouldn’t surprise me to be honest

Weird how the Oppo looks so close to the Apple Watch, yet there are so many rectangular watches out there that look nothing like the Oppo watch or Apple Watch.

Oppo and Vivo are the two brands owned by BBK Electronics. Their smartphone market share is close to that of Apple.
Which does not counter any point that was said...nobody buys those brands for their name anyway.

I think we've proven this to be completely wrong over the past 50 years, the competition part I mean. The companies that disrupt and innovate do not "compete", they completely go in another direction ignoring the competition. The companies that compete iterate, take baby steps copying off each other. And then you have companies like the on in the article, if they copy hard enough for long enough they can find a design language like Samsung did. But anyone who tries to defend Samsung before that point is simply braindead.
Don’t worry it’s all about the software these days and they sure as hell can’t copy that. Apart from the icons of course 😂
You are probably in US (me too). Americans may not be very familiar with these brands but the rest of the world is. Even in US, OnePlus phones (also BBK Electronics) are rather popular and nobody confuses them with iPhones or Galaxies. It's a popular brand in US.
They are missing the crown! I refuse to buy this until they copy apple by putting a crown on it.
