After spending almost all day getting the run around, my order has now "magically" gone back to the status it should be at. I'm thoroughly pissed to say the least. Apple knows about this problem and like the rest of the giant mega corporations they just sweep it under the rug like nothing happened. It's a bunch of bull! Yeah I might get my phone when I was "suppose" to get it, but look at the headache it caused me and the rest of you with this same issue.

Perhaps anger management therapy is in order if you truly got that angry over a phone delivery issue. Second, if you are as angry as you claim, vote with your dollar and teach those giant mega corporations a lesson by canceling your order. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get them to take your money, right? Are you THAT pissed?

Well, I finally got my issued resolved... Kind of.

So the reason mine was cancelled is someone did a reverse upgrade at 10:03am on Saturday the 15th. The only two people on the account, me and one other, were driving and talking to each other at that time. So I have no idea how someone managed that.

Anyways, after talking with AT&T for over 3.5 hours they finally said that while they could not reinstate my previous order, they would be able to send me one by next Monday-Wednesday. They also said they could give me a 64GB iPhone 5 for the price of the 32GB, and they would just credit my account the difference.

All-in-all I'm fine with this. Yes, I would have liked to simply had mine shipped to my house on Friday, but getting $100 off on the iPhone and only a few days later is okay with me too. It's before I go out of town which is all that matters at this point.

Well they can reinstate, and if they enter a new order I doubt you will get it next week.

I wish they could have just reinstated it, but everyone I talked to said they couldn't. Even when AT&T spoke with the Apple Rep...

And AT&T said I would receive it within 7-10 days. They put me on a priority list. So I'll be holding them to that. If not, hope I can get even more compensation.

Well my initial order remains canceled and my Saturday replacement order still says processing. My only hope is that I responded to the cancelation email and gave them my new order number so let's see if that helps expedite anything. My new order still says ships Oct 10-16.

This is what that email said:
"If you reply to this email with your new order number, we will process your order as quickly as possible."

Whatever that means!

Yup. Exact situation I was in. Did you call AT&T Customer Service yet? Worked decently for me.

It's Apple trying their best to smooth things over even though they know they can't do much. Basically what I got from the Apple Rep

This happened to me too ! I'm trying to get it resolved with apple now

Update 6:08 PM EST:

Apple said Verizon cancelled the order at the time they requested to ship. Verizon said that my account was in perfect standing with no problems so the order should not have been cancelled. After 4 hours on the phone talking to both companies multiple times I found out that my order cannot be reinstated. I tried to at least get my order bumped but no luck. Now I lost my place in line and I can't get my iPhone on Friday like I was supposed to. I just placed another order and replied to the email with my order number hoping that they can expedite the process so I won't have to wait 3 weeks. Good luck to everyone else!
