If the OiP is not in-store pick up, I'd call Apple right now. There could be a hang up somewhere on the carrier side. There was for me and I got nooooo email or message to that effect. Call them if you are not sure. Wait times aren't nearly as bad as Friday or over the weekend.

Order in progress for in-store pick up this Friday in Toronto. I think we will get an email on Thursday night or Friday morning when it’s ready.

Mine still shows Order in Progress with a 11/3 delivery date.

Called Apple and they said there was a problem with Att and to call them.

To which I called them and they say there isn’t a problem.

It’s a big mess now. Apple told me that if the issue isn’t corrected then the shipment will be bumped back.

Not really sure what to do at this point. Att and Apple both are not being any help.
[doublepost=1509480654][/doublepost]Also. Mine said preparing to ship the other day and then went back to order in progress.

Update: it now shows “your order will be available soon.”

So frustrating

Call back and ask for it to be escalated to a supervisor/manager. I'm having the same issue. I think they have higher level carrier contacts. When we call AT&T it's essentially tier 1 tech support and their tools are limited. Call Apple and have it escalated.

Still on hold for an ATT supervisor. They keep saying there isn’t a problem on their end and it’s Apple.

For me it's because there were two orders initially and Apple had cancelled the one that had the later delivery. The later delivery is the one that AT&T was seeing as my upgrade. Even though the order was cancelled, AT&T hadn't 'seen' that and was not releasing my upgrade eligibility for the 11/3 delivery. This created the hold on the order. My understanding is that Apple is working with AT&T to clear that but I haven't heard back yet.

You still want to call Apple and get this escalated. If it cancels before you get them on it then you might be waiting weeks for another order. Call them.

Yea that’s my issue.... but still no one seems to be able to help.

Apple said they can put a request in to have someone call me by Friday but that doesn’t help me any.

Att is still clueless and doesn’t know what to do.

Did you set up the call back? I think it's a good idea to do. It keeps you on their radar.

For me the frustrating thing was no indication that anything was amiss. If we both had not called we'd probably be staring dumbfounded at cancelled orders right now wondering what the heck happened.

Yea I set up a call back but I’m still trying to get the issues fixed in the meantime and it’s been so frustrating. I’ve been on the phone for over 3 hours with 10 different people both att and Apple and I’m constantly getting different answers and no help.

I feel your pain. I spent the better part of yesterday dealing with it as well. Hopefully it pays off for both of us :)

Ok so I have an update:

After literally HOURS on the phone with various people at both Apple and ATT, they finally said they “found the issue and were able to correct it”

After several more transfers I finally got routed back to Apple.

Good news is they don’t show that the order is pending cancellation anymore (which it was before)

The bad news is it STILL shows the same status.

I’ve now been advised to wait until tomorrow and check back.

What a mess this has been. Not really confident I’ll see the phone this Friday now. I feel bad for anyone that didn’t catch this issue because the order was going to be cancelled had I not called today.

I have the same issue and now the phone shows a delivery date of Nov 17-24th. Still not confident it will show up then.

Same here. Now showing 11/17. I'm already composing an email. I was told not to worry I'd still have an 11/3 delivery.

They told me the same thing :/ what’s bad for me is I’m leaving for training in Texas the weekend of 11/24 and won’t be back for months. So if I don’t get the phone soon then it’s usless to me.
