Well I did get bumped to 11/15 now so I guess there is light at the end of the tunnel. I spoke to the manager I was working with and asked if there was any possibility I'd get it Friday and she was honest and said no there wasn't but that they were just waiting on AT&T right now. At least it's not cancelled. I know it's just a phone but now super bummed and there's nary a bottle of scotch in sight...

I tried anything I could to get them to move me back up and they wouldn’t. They put in a request to have a supervisor call me. Very upsetting.
Looked at my AT&T account and it looks like the line has been upgraded but the date is still showing 11/17-11/24. Tried Apple again but no luck getting the date moved back up. Really not happy right now.

Can you tell me where you saw information that your line had been upgraded? I'm trying to monitor mine since that's supposedly what Apple is waiting to hear back on.
And mysteriously, mine date changed from 11/17 to 11/15, which is odd.
I went to the upgrade options and it now says I would have to pay off the $1149 to upgrade that line. When I looked earlier today it showed the old amount I would have to pay to upgrade.

I used AT&T next to upgrade.

I see it now in manage installment plan details, thank you 🙂. Shows the X pending. I'm irritated that I lost my 11/3 but mid-November is still way better than the unknown "5-6 weeks".
Guess you are right. Hopefully they get bumped up. This one is my wifes line and my phone will be delivered on Friday so I guess at least I will get to play with mine. Just bummed we wont get them at the same time.

So I tried to use UPS's "Search By Reference" feature with my order number (minus the last two digits) - even though mine is a "store pick up" order.
And I actually got a Tracking number, showing that the package is delivered to "SUNNYVALE, CA" (where the airport is) on Oct 11th -which is really odd since I thought the first batch of iphone x were shipped out of china on the 16th?
it shows the package is delivered on the "Dock" - could it be a coincidence? Or is it the very first batch?
Could anyone else with a pickup in store order number also try this to see if you get a tracking number as well?
The tracking number I found is 1ZA437506712529185 - it is very likely that many other orders will share the same tracking if they are shipping those batches to stores.
