Order Thread for Germany

Good morning everyone,

maybe the "Frühschicht" in Prague will get the new Wave of Watches and Sort them and the "Spätschicht" will send them out...

After yesterday where was movement in the Shippingprocess i hope that everyday some Watches will be shipped...

Does anybody know if tomorrow is a holiday in czech?

I would assume that there is none since Tag der Arbeit is a German holiday (so nothing religious or stuff)

nice! mine says "by the end of the day" the suspense is killing me :D UPS needs to implement the DPD system. u can even track the delivery truck on maps!
 
Damn that thing is gorgeous. Glad I ordered the 42, it still is quite small...

Meanwhile I got a shipping day of Monday. :confused:

And then I still have to wait until Wednesday, Thursday or even Friday to have it delivered at my address in the Netherlands. :mad:


Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy your Apple Watch guys!

Yes, tomorrow is a national holiday in czech.

Nothing changed for me, since my status changed to "Preparing for shippment" yesterday. Go go :apple: :D

The Netherlands aren't soooo big.. if you Family lives near the border.. go in your car and catch the watch... :)

Well, true. It's only about one hour driving to that family of mine. Indeed isn't that far. At least not to get the Apple Watch a few days earlier. However, I'm not sure my parents want to do that for me. After all, my father still had to work and my mother just never will drive a distance like that. I'm pretty sure that family member of mine won't do the same anyway.

So guess I'll have to wait those few days extra. :rolleyes:

Keep in mind that I don't have my drivers license yet, but you should have find that out after reading this post. And using public transportation just doesn't work. It's about three hours to get there I did find out. xD

Yeah, I have a bad feeling that we have to wait at least until mid May before we get any movement. As it seems there is an extra delay with the Leather Loop bands. Looking at other posts, there was no Loop Band shipped so far at all (and our spreadsheet even confirms this). :(

There's a guy in Germany named Marco Reus, he doesn't mind driving without license :eek: Maybe ask him if he could drive over to NL for you :D

Year.. thaths one way.. the other.. public transport..hm.. let's see what we can do for you..:

Day has 24 hours
- 8 Hours work/Scool
= 16 hours
- 3 hours public transport to catch
- 1 hour coffee with family "thanks for buying for me... we have to see more often"
- 3 hours public transport to home
= 9 hours
- 1 hour waiting Time for "Deutsche Bahn"
= 8 hours
- 8 hours of sleep
= Day completly filled...

:D

Back to topic now.

I think if you really want a watch and you live in Berlin, you should check with "The Corner." They have some sort of shipping/receiving office on the ground floor of a building next to my office and the amount of Apple watch packaging (shipping cartons) that they haul out of there throughout the entire day is insane.
 
Got my watch, summary for those interested.
Confirmation mail received at 09:03:36 - got it today, 42 SG BSB.

"End of today" from UPS means that they are committed to deliver it at the same day, it does not mean in the evening. Here at my office, UPS comes by every morning around 10.

The watch is great, much much cooler than the silver / blue sports band I started playing around yesterday.

I got mine at exactly the same time! :D
And I also ordered a 42mm SS BSB, confirmation email at 9:08:36.

It will be delivered by DHL Express.. but it still can't find my tracking number..
Which number is the tracking number and where do I have to search for it? For the case I'm tracking it wrong.

There's a link in your confirmation email to track the delivery. This link takes you to your order status on the apple online store. if you click on track delivery on that page, you get some information, including the tracking number.
 
I was watching the spreadsheet for Germany - apparently, none of the 42mm Silver Sport with white band with delivery date after the launch is delivered :( Most of them have 13-19.05 shipping date. I guess realistically, we can expect real action next week :(

Thanks, but I know that. I was just wondering if I'm entering this tracking number wrong since I got it 13 hours ago and there is still no shipment found.
