One guy in the 38 mm SG thread with xx:33 order confirmation was just charged:
The claw has chosen!

38mm SG BSB
Order time: xx:33 4/10
Charged: Approx. Noon CT 5/5
Status: Preparing for shipment
Location: Houston, TX area

You folks in the xx:40's - it'll be your turn soon.

And in Germany we're still stuck at xx:13. But I see this as a good signal. Some day there are only EU orders left ... :)

As far as I know we aren't at xx:13 yet. I also ordered at that time and I'm still stuck at processing :(

So my contact just has delivered the package at her local post office. Little late (which she did admit herself), but it will be arriving within two days. That's for sure. :)

My watch is out for delivery! Looking so much forward to receiving it!

I can't understand how there could be no movement on SG 42mm in germany. Us is at xx:06 time frame and we are stuck at xx:03. I know we have a time frame for delivery but it sucks.

It's even worse for the 38mm. In the U.S. there are already xx:30 and xx:40 orders being shipped.

They are at :07 now for the 42 SG AWS.

I can't explain why we are sooo late in Europe, especially Germany and France. That may be caused by:
- huge amount of orders: since there are only the UK, Germany and France where the watch is selling for the entire EMEA zone, buyers from other countries may have ordered from those 3 countries' stores > but I don't think the sum of all the orders from our 3 countries could exceed the huge amount of orders of the US
- more countries to serve = more headaches: the US is one nation with one language, no inner borders, just 1 Apple division, whereas we are 3 different countries > but I don't think this is much of a problem since we are in the EU
- a lot of holidays in the past few weeks
- Europe is Apple's 3rd market for Apple
- all of this combined

The more I think about that the more I think that Apple just wanted to better supply the US rather than Europe.

The other factor for the delays might be orders per customer.

When the iPhone comes out, people buy one or two at most.

With the watch, people are ordering multiple combinations, re-order after selling and so forth.

But I still believe that the main reason is the packaging with the bands and the possible combinations. Even the packaging is different.

They did not have much lead time compared to iPhone production, which causes delays for certain models.

I thought Apple allowed just one watch per customer?

Ordered a 38mm WS and 42mm SS-LB on 10/4 9:0x CET.
WS got delivered on 24/4.
LB still scheduled for 12-26/5...

I have seen screenshots of people here, ordering two on launch day and placing additional orders because their initial orders would not move.

I think people have multiple accounts with different credit cards.

The potential problem with multiple orders affects the U.S. just as much as European countries - why would this be exclusive to Europe?

Today has to be our day :-( The U.S. Got charged Saturday, Sunday, Monday and yesterday. So I hope a lot for Europe today!!

My hope is slowly dying, but I'm not giving up yet :D
Let's hope we will FINALLY see some status changes for Europe today :)

My creditcard has an service, that you got a SMS when it's balanced over 200€... Just got a message at noon time and thought "yipiiihh" but than turns out was my best friend... urgs..

Used PayPal as payment option. And downloaded their app, will get a notification whenever Apple's payment go from Pending to Charged. But US will get another day OFC! So we wont see anything today (rater saying that to myself so i dont get disa-fkin-ppointed later today)

Have seen users postning screenshots of up to 4 watches in their queue. :/

Yes, you're right but Apple did tell that they would take only one order per customer. So they screwed up on that. They should not have tell they were going to take 1 order per buyer since they knew it would be hard to check that.

I did not write that :) and you're right, this is surely not a Europe-specific issue.

Again, I think Apple just wanted to ship more watches to the US since this is their most important market, Europe is their third.
