Let me guess, you had June or May staying before you got this mail? I think, Apple just notifies, if there is a concrete shipping time frame.

Got another mail from Apple today.. "Tell us about your Mac"
Why, Apple, why? Why are you doing this to me?

Yes, I did. "Just" some additional Sport Bands, in 2-3 weeks. Nothing on the watch itself though (42mm Link Bracelet, June)

Just what i've thought then..

This 5X1 Flight, UPS1 is now in Poland and its delayed with 40 minutes, but around 22:02 it will land in Colonge. If thats the plane with some Watches we'll see when its shipment is scanned into the scan hub(s).

Just got the email. Shipping in 1-2 weeks they say. Ordered on 9:37 with 4-6 wks. I still got charged twice already though...

Just did the survey they asked me to participate in regarding my new Mac. Now it's time to give something back, Apple!!! :p

Does anybody has a clue how apples logistics for Europe or especially Germany regarding the Apple Watch works?

What we know is that many (all?) shipments came from Prague/Czech... But how did the watches get there?

I know that Cologne is a hub for UPS and FedEx flights. Both airlines have regular relations from China. Liege (Lüttich) is a huge hub for TNT, also with heavy traffic from China. If we talk about DHL, we have to look about Leipzig, that's their hub.

But do the watches really come direct from China to Europe or do they take a detour over the US? Where are they packed into parcels, in Prague or anywhere else? Is Prague just Apples distribution center, where already packed parcels are send out? I have never seen a cargo flight from China or the US direct to Prague.

I'm wondering because the guys in the UK thread were looking at flights from the US to the UK (their main hub is east midlands for almost every cargo flight).

Who knows anything?
