Ordered my daughters sport with white band on 13th, payment gone and order status changed from June to preparing for dispatch. (She wanted to do a try-on first.)
My SG sport with black band orderd on 10th at 8.31 changed from June to preparing for dispatch.
Looks like both arriving Friday.

Geez, I go away for a few hours and when I come back I have to spend half an hour catching up from page 146 to here! I now understand the meaning of the phrase 'Email of Death' that I saw on the main forum and, praise be unto Francis, I have not received one! Remember when somebody said we might make it to page 125 by Friday? Sure showed them, good work! I look forward to getting to page 300 tomorrow as dispatch emails start coming in

The AppleWatches are now sat in various warehouses with Syncreon and UPS near the East Midlands. During the course of the day tomorrow they'll be delivered to local hubs with UPS, UKMail and possibly others, and tracking information will be made available.
The AppleWatches will go out for delivery on Friday morning.
How do I know all this? Because that's how every iPad and iPhone launch for the past few years has gone and there is no reason to suspect this is any different. The one exception being that Apple has decided to give customers a delivery window of 24th April - 8th May rather than a specific day. Therefore, you may get lucky and get it on Friday, or you may have to wait up to a couple more weeks.
Just got the email of death. "We are working on your order" and a reminder that it "will ship between 24th April and 8th May".
Only received it for my 42mm SGS which is still processing, not my 38mm green sports which is preparing for dispatch.
A few other threads dissecting the meaning of this, but to me it's a pretty obvious ass-covering reminder that the 24th is unlikely.

That looks right on your wrist. They didn't have the correct strap/ case combo at the Apple Store I went to either so it'll be interesting to see it when it finally arrives.
