  • Pending payment for £339 appeared on my Amex card on Tuesday.
  • Order changed to "Preparing for Despatch" Tuesday PM.
  • No "Email of Doom".
  • Still in Preparing for Despatch".

FYI with my iPad Air 2 I wasn't notified of dispatch until 18:08 the day before I received it on launch day

Sadly the Space Grey (which is for me!) is still on processing. I am holding out hope for that to change today but I'm probably deluding myself. #

The weird thing (in my case) is that I have'n actually been charged.

It just shows on my Amex card as a "Pending Payment"...

Although if I'm honest, I fully expect to arrive there tomorrow morning and them having no clue what's happening or the parcel is already out for delivery.

Spoken to our depot again and they saying any UKMAIL depot that holds Apple parcels are breaking direct rules that were sent to every depot regarding this release. Syncreon has made this stipulation. They say any depot that has said they are holding the parcel has not checked where it was coming from and when they do they won't be held.

Anyone else been told the same?

Just a heads-up for those of us in Northern Ireland: UK Mail doesn't have a depot here for parcel delivery - their partner is a courier called Nightline. It means we won't get an estimated delivery window (in my experience) but it will be delivered tomorrow at some point. My iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 both arrived on launch day delivered by these guys.

The bit about the partnership with UK Mail is at the bottom of this page, so look out for a green and white van!

This is great news for all of us in Ireland who order in UK for deliver to Ireland via Parcel Motel, as nightline runs it.
 
My 38 sport black is still Processing.

While my confidence in a Friday delivery has now reached 50% I'm hopefully of charges being taken from 3pm onwards and order statuses changing. There's still time #

I think i recall on the iPhone 6 threads back in the day, that UKMail offer 2 services normally, that they don't offer when it comes to Apple launch deliveries.

- Pick up from depot.
- Pay extra for a guaranteed time slot.

I worry that that may very well be the case, but I've got nothing to lose; I'm going away for the weekend and it was unlikely to be delivered before 10am anyway, I guess.

Ordered a few minutes after 8am on 10th
Changed to Preparing for Dispatch yesterday at around 10.45am
NO charge or pending transactions showing on credit card
Still not dispatched

No idea what that means for me!!!!!!!!!!
 
Phoned UKMail and picking my 42mm Space Grey Sports up at 8am Saturday morning :) Too busy with other things in life tomorrow. :cool:

From what I was told by UKMail is that a delivery will probably still be attempted tomorrow as this has to be done before you can pickup a parcel from a depot.

Is your SS BSB the 42mm? What time was your email confirmation?
