Yep although I've known for 2 weeks that I would potentially have to wait until the 8th May, I still feel let down.

I agree it sucks, i wanted it so much for this weekend (doing a charity run i wanted to try it with). I'm really disappointed that i'm not getting it. But i just dont really think its apples fault

My order is gathering dust.

I feel left out.

That being said, a rather excellent steak lunch (no spicy pork salad on the menu unfortunately) has made me feel a bit better.

I do hope those receiving theirs tomorrow come back and post impressions :D

They were wise to give the 2 week window. At least some people are receiving on the 24th. There were clear supply issues, or misjudgment on the demand side. Troubles of being a tech geek i guess :p

Let's be honest, with the amount of money Apple has there aren't really an excuses for that.

They let many of us down with this launch. This new Apple doesnt understand its customers anymore. That Angela whatsherface's head should roll, totally screwed up the buying experience.

You know what, i've thought about this arguement further and the real issue is lack of transparancy. If more stock is coming, they should say so and say when they are expecting the next batches of watches.

Furthermore process these things in the order of when the order was placed, not at random.

Not necessary her fault, imagine someone asking you to provide a good buying experience for say 1 million people who want a watch each, first thing you do is ask manufacturing and they say they have 650,000. What can you possibly do?

Plus add in all the variations and its a nightmare.

For me the fault is with the manufacturing team

Annoyed UKMail is delivering, glad I'm getting a watch tomorrow! :D

Let's hope the drivers don't come & tap lightly on the door then run away to get home early! :p

Not sure if you're serious I hope not.... have you read the lobster analogy?

The tracking number isn't working for me on the UPS website yet, but to be honest I feel that drained I can't be arsed worrying about it. It's been an emotional day.

It's a new product category for them - hopefully they will learn from their mistakes.

If they judged the predicted sales figures on androidwear then no wonder they were lacking in supply :p

I'm assuming that everyone that pre-ordered on the 10th should realistically get their watch before anyone in the "next wave of launch countries" does. It launches in those countries on 8th May.

Of course more stock is coming! It isnt some limited run of things. Do you want Apple to constantly post that they're making more stock?

And minus the odd slip up it has been, per model. Ive read almost all of the 5000+ posts here. Were seeming pretty good to be honest.

Angela hasn't screwed up just because you didnt get your watch. Shes a lot more apple than any of the retail heads since the original. Shes a really nice person with a great vision for apple. Its a one of launch experience based on the lack of supply. Something that comes from making like 20 models.

Good luck brothers and sisters. I think I have always hoped tomorrow would be the day, well EXPECTED it to be really, but I've known since 10th that it could be 8th May. I hate that fact, and have lost respect for apple because of it, but this experience has been one of the greatest shows of community that I have ever seen in my life!!! We are all labelled as geeks etc, but we just share a common passion for technology and quality products - how is that different to being passionate about a football team or formula 1 etc? Apple fan and proud :)

Perhaps then the watch faces should have been sold seperately from the bands.

Plus its very hard for me to feel sorry for Apple. They are a huge company that can handle large manufacturing. They have dealt with huge launches in the past more successfully.

42mm SS BSB UPS 24th delivery.. Wife has UK Mail with her 38mm for tomorrow also. The race is on...

Good luck everyone else
