NOT WATCH RELATED...

But is anyone here having No Service issues with EE?! Mine has been out since yesterday and their customer service has been horrendous!

(I guess it could be watch related, as it is pretty useless unless I'm on wifi! Really, who only wants this watch to only tell time...)

I'm using iPad mini and can't see this?

you have to place a new order the pick up locations are strange... the one i picked was a brantano store in milton keynes.... it said pick up available soon by on confirmation email says july probably is not going to work but strange indeed

So you have to place the order first before being asked if you want to pick up?

That's very strange, maybe a glitch in this mornings update

upon checkout before paying it gives you the option for pickup. but it doesn't list apple stores as pickup points, only UPS access points. which makes me believe that it's just similar to ordering online and having it delivered, just not to your home but to a UPS access point

Local Pick-up is exactly like ordering to your own address. I ordered 2 watches and one came to my home and the other was arranged to go to my local UPS access point. They arrived on the same day.

I've arranged for my straps/bands to go to the UPS access point too because I don't have to be home and can collect when I want.

Yes, it's blacked out for me a couple of times today; but only for a minute or so

Feeling even more deflated now after reading some of the USA threads and seeing the movement they get every day. Oh well, should have my AWS42BSB within 16 days max.

Remember though, the U.S. has 5x the population of the UK. So that is 5x the number of orders than the UK, so for every plane load of watches that we get in the UK, in the U.S. they must get 5 plane loads just to maintain the status quo. That is why there seems so much more activity in America than over here.

Disagree..
Waiting/orders order should be used. This 5x more, should mean 5x more orders, and therefor the same delivery times. But that is not true.
Secondly, UK, France and Germany have about the same number, and there are loads of orders from Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Denmark and the rest of Europe who cannot order at their own country. All europe countries get about 1 shipment a week..

I feel a bit deflated knowing those who ordered on launch day still haven't been fulfilled...I ordered mine 5 days later and so the wait could still be lengthy and my watch hasn't changed from June dispatch to a dated dispatch...still at least I know I should have it within 6 weeks or so....

Yes as a Brit I have to agree with this. Apple is an american company and the demand of the american consumer should come first. As you say, five times the size of GB and therefore five times the supply

If that was true then they should still only be at the same point as us in order times but this is not the case tho as the U.S. is well over 5x ahead on deliverys than the UK.

Just ordered a 42mm SG BSB - not sure it was even worth it though because by the time I actually get the watch they will probably be in stores. Might cancel and order a 38mm.

Was at Byron Burger for lunch today and the waiter had a 42 SS Classic Buckle, it looked hella sweet but not sure how I'd feel about wearing it in a job where you have such a large chance of damaging it!

Has anyone seen or even ordered the HOCO link bracelets that are available on eBay? They look good for the price but I got a 42 SGS so I'm gonna wait till they offer a black one. I'm hoping with the popularity of the SGS this won't take too long...

I was thinking about it but think that if I buy a titanium watch strap on eBay and just get the adapter when available, it will look a lot better, the HOCO one is a cheap strap and looks it

So, for those that got your order in early (8:05 and before-I was 8:03) and you were given dates of delivery starting from 12th May...how confident are that you'll get your despatch notification tomorrow?
