That is good news! Am sure you are enjoying your watch; thanks for the update.

Great to know that we can receive it within 24 hrs and they are dispatched from within the UK (no waiting for it to ship from half way across the world and clear customs!).

Seriously thinking about it, do we really 'need' the watch?

I got the Garmin fenix 3 a few weeks ago, and it has been on my wrist as my daily watch since (normal watches are so boring now!). It has served me well and in all honesty, I plan to wear both the fenix 3 and AW interchangeably (I run a lot).

For me, if I am entirely honest, the AW will be something I will wear for a week, play around with, and then go back and forth between it and my fenix 3 (depending on what I am doing on a given day).

Rambling a bit, not sure what my original point was. But seriously, is the source of our immense anticipation due to wanting a new product, or will it truly change our life...
 
So my SS brown leather loop medium finally arrived last night (ordered launch weekend). In fairness to Apple it said June delivery when I ordered it and then updated to 22nd to 29th June last week so you could say they came through a month earlier than promised! Does not feel like that though. Whats true is it took 6 weeks to come which felt a long long time. Especially as people ordered SS white sport bands in May were getting shipped within a week!

Anyway its here now it was worth the wait for the model I really wanted (tried the 38mm SS in the interim - too small, also tried the 42mm silver aluminium sport and just did not look right on wrist).

Two additional bands I had on order (black sport band and blue leather loop) from the launch weekend changed to PFD overnight so for me looks like the journey is over. This thread has been equal support and torture whilst I waited! Thanks to all the contributors for helping.

Before anyone says, I knew it was June before I placed the order so I can't moan. And if apple had served everyone first come first served I would not. However when they:

Supplied DSM before fulfilling pre orders

Supplied Selfridges before fulfilling pre orders

Had certain SS models (e.g. WSB) ordered weeks later shipping before preorders just because of a different band configuration

Were not clearer on which band configurations were shipping faster

The whole thing has left a bitter taste in my mouth and my respect for apple has been jolted a little as a result.
 
Hi everyone, just had a huge change on my Apple status. Apple watch 42mm SS WSB, was showing as 4-5 weeks dispatch, delivery on 23 - 29th June. Just changed to show 1-3 days dispatch, delivery 29th May - 2nd June!

Everyone might to check theirs! :)

My 27/5 - 09/6 just got bumped to 29/5 -02/6 was hoping for tomorrow but I guess thats ruled out! Please apple send it for FRIDAY - Im off work :)
 
How come people are getting 29th May 2nd June and ive got 4th-8th June?

I ordered on 17th April.. Anyone ordered after me got earlier date of 29th-2nd?

Mines a 42 SG sport
