Keep those spirits high, people. It must ship today and deliver tomorrow surely!!!
No change. Come on stainless Thursday.
Are we watching any plane today? Haha
This is driving me insane, ordered the space grey sport 42mm on the 10th April, been waiting on it since then and all of a sudden around 3pm my delivery status changes to preparing to dispatch and has been stuck there since. I've seen others on forums that ordered the same model after the 10/4 getting notification theirs have been dispatched. Only thing I can think of is logistics I live in Scotland so probably won't deliver until they have enough orders to ship whereas someone nearer a major transit hub or in an area of higher order numbers would have shipped first. At least thats what I'm trying to tell myself and it's not that Apple's screwed up the orders letting people jump the queue.![]()

That is very odd. I ordered on Sunday 12th April at like 5:30pm and mine is out for delivery today. Very very odd!
I wouldn't have thought this was an issue. Apple will just punt the watches out as quickly as they can to the carriers. The carriers will worry about shipping logistics from that point on and they'll run deliveries to the majority of Scotland every day.
We have UPS 237 taking off in the next 90 minutes from Louisville to Philly. Can't see anything scheduled from there to here though.
Yep about what I'm thinking just now, if this is the way Apple handles pre-orders then what the hell's the point, seen a post from one guy who ordered the same model as me on the 24th May and they've got the same delivery slot as me![]()
Don't worry, as soon as the plane lands in Philly a new flight to East Midlands will appear. Yesterday when the plane left Philly we started seeing charges ( don't know if it was a coincidence or not ).
Ive seen people order days or even weeks after me and had theirs shipped. Total joke!

While I wait for my Apple Watch to arrive, I did a rough calculation of the carbon footprint generated by it's journey from China to NY. It's stayed on the same 747 for the entire trip. I used info from the Carbon Independant site to calculate...
--> 4 tonnes or 4.4 metric tons of CO2 emmissions
--> 120 tonnes or 132.2 metric tons of jet fuel
And that's just one plane for one company for one trip... Who needs glaciers anyway, I just want myWatch
8 hours -- China to Anchorage (6927km)
6 hours -- Anchorage to Louisville (5011km)
2 hours -- Louisville to New York (1046km)
