For such long waiting time, Apple should pay for "instant" shipping if that's even a thing, or at least weekend shipping. This should be the case till they have enough stock to cover the demand.

They are now offering "same day" delivery on some products / in some cities. So maybe it's the future.
No they don't, they use Apples methods only.
Just going of how yesterdays PFD's went on the SG's. would be great if it happened, but i can't see it for this reason unfortunately.

if I get mine on Tuesday (the last day of my current estimate), I'll still be a month earlier than my original estimate. So not bad, but yes I too am clinging to the idea of delivery this week.
Also, its the last working day of May tomorrow so a lot of people will be paid. Might mean something in terms of Apples internal targets for delivery.

Sad thing is:
Monday delivery = No work done for the week haha..
Tomorrow delivery = setup and play all weekend, and full concentration all week at work, play again after work every day.
Does not help i'll be getting it first thing in the morning AT WORK!!!

You're in Edinburgh I'm only 25 miles away and my delivery says next Tuesday, and my dispatch time was 19:49, I really hope mines on the same van as yours I can't wait an extra 5 days
You'll be fine, they only need to call if they don't have the correct address details or need more info on the address.
the driver will see that and know, but they rarely need to call you.
I know when I had my Pono Player last year that if it wasn't a valid phone number UPS refuse to ship it until it's correct
