Mmm, I juste checked the order status on att.com . It still says "in progress" , but it no longer says back-ordered. It seems they're shipping out most of them today/tomorrow regardless of when you ordered it...

I'm gonna guess its becuase Apple owes AT&T a week's worth of stock at least for delaying the launch at AT&T.
When does the att.com page update?
I ordered the phone today in the actual ATT store and they said it would ship in 7 days, but when I checked the website for a tracking number it says it isn't even in their system.

how are you guys getting to the page where you can see the shipped/backordered chart. I just ordered mine and when i click the link in the email, all i see is three check list squares being "received" "in progress" and "shipped" no chart or backorder information
Hmmm, I ordered on June 29. 1, 32gb and got that shipped yesterday. I also had 2, 16gb on the same order and those are still on back order and your saying your 16gb is shipped already on the same day!? This really upsets me, I think I am going to call ATT tomorrow and see what this is all about.

It now says QTY Shipped: 1 and QTY Ordered: 1, and it changed the Status from In Progress to Shipped! This just happened in the last 15 minutes. No email yet
Anyone else who is still on back order have a business account/have a pretty big discount? Maybe their priority is by highest paying customers.
That's all the info I saw too. Did you also order through ATT Premier? That order status page seems to be different and very basic. Just keep an eye out on your email though because thats how I saw mine had shipped.

16 GB. I have a 3G 8 GB and still have a few GB of room! My dad tried to talk me into getting the the 32 GB but I couldn't justify it!
3G couldn't shoot video...in HD.....
But I have no interest in shooting videos! I don't even do anything that interesting to where I need to record anything haha! Maybe for camping, but I always have my laptop close to me. Also, doesn't the iPhone 4 shoot video at a pretty decent amount? Wasn't it like 1.4MB/s? Maybe I am wrong.
Having 8 GB more than I currently have should be more than enough room for me to make a video. It's not like I will be changing my habits because I have more room! I still only put the songs I really want on it, etc...
Maybe it will hurt me down the road, but I don't really see myself shooting a lot of video.
