Order 16gb 01 July on the premier account. Still have backorder status which was last updated 02 July. I'm in Virginia.
Ordered a 16GB from Missouri.
Its officially 7/7 and my order status still says "Processing"
Funny thing is I called AT&T the same day I ordered and the person on the line told me that it would be "Processed" within 24 hours.
now i know what the 6/29 and 6/30 orders felt like when orders made after those dates are shipping first lol. still no movement on my 7/2 order 
they don't, apple started selling there's on june 15th and at&t started selling there's june 29th... apple had 2 weeks of orders backed up by that point and at&t had a clean slate
they check it for funds when you order but that charge will be pending then withdrawn, mine shipped tuesday and i haven't been charged for it yet though, odly

I ordered my iphone 4 today at 10am
and at 1015pm its been shipped
So nice!.... while my pre-order from the 6/15 is still a no show =(
I find this whole predicament amusing. AT&T Premier has shafted customers the past 2 iPhone releases, but it appears as though this time they have figured things out.
On both the iPhone 3G and 3GS I ordered through Premier the first day possible, and they didn't actually ship the phone until 2 weeks or so later. In both cases, I ended up canceling my order and purchased my phone directly from Apple on the release date.
So, this time around, I decided to go with Apple straight out. I ordered a 32GB on June 23rd, it hasn't shipped yet.
Just my luck I guess that I pick the wrong team 3 years in a row. I just wish Apple would wait 3 weeks to release the phones so they could stockpile Millions of these things, so that on release day, everyone gets one.

On the Premier order status, you can check it, but the details are not very helpful. On the regular ATT order status, it states, "Status for orders placed in the last 24 hours may not be available. " This is what applies to me as well.
