I don't know what the issue could be then. perhaps some of the cells are damaged and it's not reporting.

I guess it also depends on usage, I mostly just read and watch YouTube on mine, about 50% brightness. I have always closed out all apps that I am not using. I also have turned off background app refresh for most apps. Besides that, I don't use low-power mode very often.

Its very hard to transfer screen time from one user to the other. Brightness and app use can easily make 50% difference.

Second thing is battery health. Apple gave me a new battery last year. 9months later it showed 93%, but SOT dropped to 1.5h.
Thats why I put now an i7 battery in and tripled SOT.

So when u think that iOS 12 reduces battery life it might be just cos of battery health dropped after a few months of use...

We have day 1 6S that still works great. I used it for 2 years and now my daughter is using it. The phone is about 3.5 years old and it does not seems to slowing down any time soon. We replaced the battery twice already and probably will do it again and pass the phone to our younger daughter next in 6 months or so.

At what point does battery health start to throttle speeds? I'm considering updating to iOS 12 while I still can and want to make sure it won't slow the phone down really bad.

I had the 6s plus for 2 years and a half. Performance wise, it was one of the best phone I had. In fact, for everyday task, its not that slower than my XS max. The only downside, and its a big one, is the battery life. Its one of the worst I had. The phone become hot easily and battery drain the minute you do something more than just texting of talk to the phone. (watching streaming videos, especially Youtube, was a battery drain fest)

So yeah, great phone, but don't expect a good battery life. The regular 6 had better battery for my experience.
