i just cancelled my order with apple, and ordered from att.. i've heard they are shipping much quicker. tired of waiting on a damn phone

yeah, it seems like it is quicker. i ordered 7/23 from at&t (32GB) and mine shipped today. should be here wednesday according to fedex.
Like you I waited for the White iPhone that never came, and I had no plans to even buy the black one.
But this past saturday I was bored so I headed down to the mall with my sister to go do some shopping, and so on our way out we took a detour to the Apple Store for fun and out of curiosity I asked an employee at the front door about their iPhone stock, to my surprised she replied "we have enough for the whole week" so I bought one (I was in and out in less than 30 minutes)
maybe it would be worth a try to go down to your local Apple Store and ask (or even call) might be faster than waiting the 3 weeks estimated on Apple.com

I ordered mine through apple.com and mine stills says Aug13/18th. I regret it now, I could of just went to a store and bought it. Anyone order online at around the same time and received any updated info yet?
cancel your order with apple and order from att.com that way we can keep each other updated. keep in mind once you order from att online you cant cancel until its actually delivered but im hearing its taking much shorter time to deliver w/ att.. something like they have stock in there warehouse and its not shipping from overseas
I'm going to wait till the end of this week see if anything changes. If they have such a big stock at the stores and at ATT why do the ppl that ordered online get the ***** end of the stick. O well..patience, i guess.
any timeline on how long it takes from att.com? I ordered from apple on 7/23 and i'm flying out for a week on 8/13 which is the shipping date but if att.com can ship it to me less than 10 days then I'll cancel my apple order and go with them. Is it realistic?
I placed an order with ATT on the 23rd and called to cancel it the next week after I was able to walk into Best Buy and get an iPhone. The first person I talked to said I couldn't cancel it so I called back and the next person said no problem. So far the ATT order has not shipped so it looks like it may really be cancelled.

well my plan today was to go to apple store and get one but i just called and they said they dont have any in stock and he doesnt know when they will get any in.. so i'll just keep my att order intact. pretty retarded how hard it is to get ahold of a damn phone
My 7/23 *AT&T* order shipped today. Weird that Apple is slower to ship an Apple device than the carrier it's on.
Yea exactly, makes no sense. It should be the other way around. Look at it on the bright side, these late produced ip4's may not have any antenna problems. Atleast you would hope

I decided a week and a half ago that I wanted a 32GB. Got on the reservation list and got a 32GB three days later. I understand they discontinued reservations since then but they get new stock every other day and they usually don't run around till about noon or 1pm so there's plenty of time to call the store and then go pick it up.

The day I ordered mine was the day They stopped with the lists. When I called the store he said no lists, we have no phones and we wont have any for another 3 weeks. The same wait time as online. Of course, hindsight is 20/20...I regret ordering it online after i read all these stories of ppl just walking in and getting them. I prolly jumped the gun a lil bit on just ordering it, but i was waiting for the white model and just got impatient. Hopefully it comes early, I kinda expect it too, but who knows really...
