Prepared for Shippment

Like Stein357 My 7/23 32gb order (Apple Online Store) changed status to "Prepared for shipment" today. (I had the common 7/13 ship and 7/18 delivery dates)-- Hopefully this means it comes earlier than expected.
 
wow now I am annoyed- mine is still scheduled to be shipped on 8/13- I WANT MY PHONE I am so sick of using an old razr...

Same here. 4.0.1 is killing my 3G hardcore. I really want/need the camera and 720p video.

Oh well. #whiteboyproblems

I ordered on the 23rd. And yes its a 16gb and no change on my order status...see below:

yea i got a 16gb on the 23rd too after holdin out for the white phone...i don't think they're gonna ship any sooner tho, only the 32gb, unfortunately they're in a much higher demand, my shipping/delivery is 13/18
 
i just checked my order status and from this morning where it was "not yet shipped" it changed to "prepared for shipment"

this is for the 16gb iphone and i ordered it on 7/23

any idea what "prepared for shipment" actually means? I fly out on friday for a week, if it changed to that status today will i get it by thursday
 
i ordered a 32 gig from at&t web site on August 2nd and just shipped today august 7 (just five days) should be gettiing it monday

Mine just did the same thing. Now it says "prepared for shipment" But it still says 13/18 on the ship date.

Must be the 16GB that is shipping. Mine is still stuck at:

Good News! I just checked my order status on my apple store account and it is listed as "Prepared for Shipment"! I am so excited! Good luck to all of you out there!

Did yours just change this evening or sometime today?

It should have shipped sometime today, but I don't think you'll get it by Thursday though.

I don't know exactly, I was busy all day so I just checked at night...sorry I couldn't be more helpful! I do know that this morning I got a shipment notice...
 
Sweet! I got a delivery date and tracking number! Should be here by Thursday, its currently relaxing in Hong Kong getting prepared for the long flight. Cant wait!
 
Update (after getting tracking info):

Phone: 16gb
Ordered: 7/23
Expected Shipping: 8/13
Expected Delivery: 8/18
Actual Shipping: 8/7
Expected Delivery: 8/12

Looks like some are shipping out almost a week earlier than originally told, after holding out for the white iphone and now "settling" for the black one, its good to finally see some good news.

Just curious what time of day did you order on the 23rd? I ordered my 16gb around 6:30 pm and mine has yet to reach prepared for shipment.
 
Wow. I ordered from ATT yesterday morning and it's gonna be at my house tomorrow. :eek:
