Organising Finder?

How do you keep your Finder organised? What folders or labels do you use?
Any tips or maybe even screenshots are appreciated, as I need to clean up my Mac!

I keep my documents in the Documents Folder. I have several folders that I created within that folder to organize by various criteria.

I install all apps in the Applications Folder. Some don't update if kept elsewhere.

I download things into the Downloads Folder. Most of those get deleted.
