move into this century, my friend. it's jarring for me too but this is 2014. There's tons of learning potential in these things.
Damn right. That's what grandparents are for. Especially when they are well educated in the use of proper manners, keeping their chores done and respecting each other. Yup, a grandparent is allowed to reward great grandkids,or am I wrong?
When I was younger getting spoiled was having chocolate milk, eating snacks and getting to stay up past my bedtime when going to grandmas.

In all seriousness a 200 dollar gift for a responsible child isn't extreme these days, especially if they won't know the difference between the old and New iPad minis. I say let the children have their high technological gadgets and such.

im picking one up... even though its old, it will still be faster than my iPad 3... dang retina.
There are other brands other than Garmon. However an ipad mini would make a kick ass gps navigator. Right on the dashboard. Hmm, makes me want to do that now.
when I was 11 (which was 10+ years ago) I had my own computer. I don't see how that's spoiling lol

On topic: not a bid deal for those who want new iOS device for less than 2 hundred.
Save your allowance and buy one. They aren't that expensive. To me an 11 year old having a computer does not make them spoiled. Especially if they are responsible.
This is just a Target sale. I highly doubt there will be a refresh before September.
I thought about it then realized that the rMini will probably replace the Mini later this year.
