OS 4.1 I fell in the trap

I manage to downgrade to os 4.0 and have cydia back on.
However Fuzzyband does not seem to recognise my baseband, which was locked since I upgraded to 4.1

Is there any fix for this?

Fuzzyband only works with a very small percentage of early release iphone 3G phones. About 5% of them or so.
Sounds like yours is the unlucky one that it wont work on.

No you are **** outta luck until a new unlock comes out, and that could be a really really long time.
