All right; I understand expecting things to work the way they're supposed to and all that, but setting that aside: why use a radio service if you only want to listen to one band? Seems like a shuffled playlist of their music would be easier and more efficient... and, even if you don't already have their music, cheaper in the long run, since there's no data usage involved.

Because I want the variety, but it's really annoying that the "seeds" don't seem to even get played. I'd really like it if half of the music or more were from that artist. But it's not even close to half.

I'll upgrade this even further. I created a station with 8 or so artists. Start playing, "Like" only the songs by these artists and pass as many non-artists as I can. I still only see 1-2 songs from artists on my list in the hour.

Pandora has no problem handling this, even with only a few bits of seed information and I often get random live tracks (which I wouldn't have in my collection) and rarities. With iTunes, no matter where the slider is, I only seem to get mainstream and never what I want to hear, no matter how much I refine.

Even worse, if I restart the same station on a different day, I'm almost garaunteed to get the same crap I already listed to on the stations I've created. I don't necessarily want to add it to the do not play list because some of it I like, but I don't understand why I get more of that stuff than the bands I'd actually like to hear.
