First iWork then iLife... We got an new iLife in 2011 last time we got a iWork was in 2009!

Latest iWork is not very playful with retina Mac. I have heard they are to release an updated iWork tomorrow or within days as well.

ML isn't as great as people are making it out to be.............I'm sure most on here will be like "That's it?" after installing it..

Bah humbug, the geek in me is excited and I will enjoy it no matter.

Not really. Windows 7 and Lion are pretty comparable. I see ML as an incremental improvement. Windows 8 is a bigger leap....

been running both for awhile and windows 8 is nice but not sure is blow ML away.

I know iWork looks like crap on our Retina Mac's... Got one.. So i also hope with the update to ML then there are also a hidden update to iWork

There is a temp solution for that. Right click on any iWork app and Click on "Get Info", un-check "open in Low Resolution". this should trick the iWork, thus tables would not work the proper way.

Try it.

Does anyone know if the Message app will allow you send iMessages with just a phone number? It would be great if it could, because having to give my friends my email address to be able to use it is not ideal.

10.7.1 came out Aug 16 last year. 10.7.0 was released July 20. So more like four weeks?

Yup no time at all to wait for a stable version.

NO, Messages would only work with your AppleID which is an email. Then you can add a phone number.

Correct, it has to be done this way, so people on other devices (iPad, iPod touch, computers) can use iMessage.
