I am purchasing a MacBook air sometime either this weekend or the beginning of next week. Will it already have OS X Mountain Lion installed?

Dubious. It probably would have been sat in an Apple warehouse for a while. It's a free install though for you.

Yeah! Go Belgium! As long as you're not hosting servers, you should have no problems. Haha. Is it like that practically everywhere in Belgium? We get the same speed pretty much with any provider.

No, there's something like 30 % of the population that don't have their own e-mail and we can still deduct the cost of a governmental computer+internet package from our taxes... Haha :)

But considering that only five years ago, 24 Mbps/30 GB per month was about the fastest and best on the market, and that we today have several ISPs offering 100+ Mbps with unlimited data, I'd say we've come quite far in a short period of time :)

1. Burden of proof is on you. You're the newest here. I'm not going to waste my time. Use http://mroogle.chaseh.net and just put in "OSX Name here + Service pack" and you'll get plenty of it. Blogs by macbytes, forums, posts, etc.

2. Please, lets be grown ups about this. Yeah I shouldn't have been as personal, but to reply with that is just childish. Sure, give your name and address, I don't care what you look like, i'd say same thing to your face. But I'm sure you'll reply "Well I'll put you in the hospital", again, please what are we, 4th graders? Of course you get some crazy on here replying something about their conceal and carry, and the stick slapping goes back and forth.

So there you have it. I'd say it to you on the web or in person, doesn't matter. Secondly, Mroogle it, you'll find plenty of examples. Lastly, you continue to remind me that the macrumors community has definitely been going downward and I'm reminded of why I hardly ever come on to this site. Goodnight gentlemen.
good there are still members such as yourself who help it go upwards by telling other people to shut their traps... You are a class act.

I'm losing around 25mbit from using wifi :/ Would enable 5GHz but I feel it's likely the bottleneck will be apple's server anyway :)

BRING IT ON!

All speed tests are irrelevant because apple's servers are going to catch fire and melt to death

Wth went and enabled 5GHz band. Got nothing better to do anyway, got cloudy outside and no mountain lion inside :/

Theoretically, unless Apple servers melt, if download size is approx. 4 gigabytes and download speed is 10 megabits per second, it'll take about 55 minutes. So 5-6 minutes for those who can download at 100 megabits per second and 10 hours for those who download at 1 megabits per second. Right?
