Funnily enough I just moved out of Cardiff where I had Infinity and would've been infinity 2 now if I didn't move.

Im in Milton Keynes at the moment where there is a range of 0.5mb - 100mb. Shame that I couldn't find a place to live that had fibre as well. Was either crap property good internet or vice versa!

Still waiting for codes! Been over an hour now!
 
Quick question, Just got mine to to at least let me buy the damn App, its now just sat there saying "Downloading," and not moving.

How do I kick start it into downloading?
 
they just added macbook air as an option in up to date, i'm thinking this may be why codes haven't been sent out. I put macbook because there was no air option and I imagine they are seeing that caused problems. it's kinda BS it's been well over an hour.
 
Just received the code from apple but no luck, i get a message code is already used! :mad:

I saw the Macbook Air option about 40 minutes ago...
 
havent received my redemption code either. Just called applecare and they said it could up to 72 hours to get... :(
 
Ouch 72 hours... just got an email notification got me all excited, turns out it was just spam... :(

I think for the sake of 13 quid i ought to have gone though the straight up download route, non of this time consuming rubbish.
 
Why is it that although i have the ilife suite on my imac, the same apps show up as unpurchased on app store? So if I want to down the update, I must pay the full price? :confused:

I'm only a handful of miles outside of Cardiff and am stuck on 8Mb for the foreseeable future according to BT. :(

Not that fibre would be doing me any good at the moment anyway, as I'm still waiting on my up-to-date code from Apple... grr!
 
I hear the claim for those who qualify for a free upgrade could take up to 72 hours! I submitted mine an hour ago and still nothing.
 
Just installed over GM. Nothing ground Breaking here. Wanted a lot more in a new OS.. But it's what I expected after running GM. Not the major makeover that windows 8 will be that's for sure
 
Still no code and judging by the time it just took to download updates I think I will wait till tomorrow morning unless the code comes soon.:(

I have this issue too. Although I think mine is due to the fact mine was installed from the old retail sold CD.

Same here. I reformatted my comp prior to installing an SSD and ended up reinstalling them from the bundled cd. Real shame...hope a fix for this comes. :p

Hmm...apparently there are updates for them via software update. Will see what they do tomorrow. :D
 
Okay, so mine finished downloading, but said that there was an error and it can't be installed. So it's downloading again now. Anyone with the same problem?

I thought this version & GM were identical.
 
Someone please. I bought My MacBook in December. I know I can upgrade but is it ok to just upgrade not to clean install? I have 4gb of ram that came with computer it should be ok
 
If I have to wait until I get that redeem code or whatever it's called ...

I needed to purchase a ML for the macbook air I have ... So I used that for my other machine ... The air can wait :D

Wonder when the code will come through.

Using ML now ... Upgrade was quick and painless
