Yosemite has appeared in the Apps By Apple section on the MAS, but OS X Server has disappeared now.

Yosemite Server imminent?

super slow d/l here in OZ...

I spoke too soon.
Full speed ahead (in bursts.... then back to dialup speed)
now its full speed!

1 hour to go on my measly adsl2+ connection

Download took approximately 30 minutes. Not too bad.

Hmmm, unlikely they will waste there time doing such things mate. Just get a new iPhone :)

Ha, thanks. Just sell me your iPhone 4s or 5s?

I love shiny new things as much as the next guy, but I already blew my cash this year on a new 15" rMBP - anyway, running off on a tangent. Sorry.

Ok this is weird. I have the Yosemite Beta 6. The only update I've received is for iTunes 12.01, but all of the sudden out of the blue my phone calls are coming through on my Mac Mini. Could it be Yosemite automatically updated in the background for Beta testers? I never downloaded an update for Yosemite. How do I know if I'm still running Beta 6 or the full public version of Yosemite?

It told me I should update instead of downloading the full install but there is only an iTunes update. There's no way PB6 = final release, right?

No, there's a different build number for the final release. Just get the full install file. It's useful to back it up on a hard drive for unforeseeable problems.

About this Mac? Click on the Apple in the upper left corner, should be the first choice in the menu. What does it say?

Go to About this Mac, where is says 10.10 click on it and the build number will appear. For me it still says 388b.

Also, I've had a couple of calls come through on my Mac over the last few days.

Ok. Mine says 388b as well, so that's still the Beta version?

Silly question:
How many minutes/hours until you finish the installation and have everything ok?

Another silly question:
Will the other apps possibly stop working due to incompatibility with Yosemite?

Having to finish a thesis this days + non working apps = absolute frustration.

Downloading in Poland, on 250Mb connection I get only 2Mb, so I will finish in about 2 hours ;) Also I downloaded Mav installer from AppStore, just in case, funny thing, that Mav was downloaded in 3 mins ;)

Question to all that have PB6 and iMac with GF9400 graphics, I had PB2 and 3, the graphics glitches was so annoying that I returned to 10.9.5 which is running really fast. How is it in PB6? Did you have interface/graphics problems in PB6?

Thanks

Interestingly, if you right-click on the install file in Applications and click Get Info, it says that the file was created on the 9th of October...
